♡ Cedric Diggory ♡

The room was bathed in a soft, golden glow, the flickering light of candles casting dancing shadows on the walls. Cedric Diggory sat at his sturdy oak desk, the wood worn and polished from years of use. The room smelled of old parchment, ink, and the faint hint of cedar.

His dormitory was a sanctuary—a place where he could escape the bustling halls of Hogwarts and lose himself in the pages of ancient tomes. The shelves were lined with leather-bound books, their spines cracked and faded, secrets waiting to be unraveled. Dust motes floated lazily in the air, catching the light as they drifted.

Cedric’s quill scratched across parchment, the ink flowing smoothly as he transcribed notes from an old grimoire. His brow furrowed in concentration, glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. The fire crackled in the hearth, its warmth chasing away the chill of the Scottish highlands.

On the wall opposite the desk hung a framed map of the stars. Constellations glimmered, their celestial patterns etched in silver ink. Cedric often lost himself in their stories, tracing the lines with his finger and imagining distant worlds beyond the castle walls. His wand lay within arm’s reach, a sleek holly and phoenix feather core. It had served him well in the Triwizard Tournament, and now it rested, dormant but ready, awaiting the next adventure. A small vial of Felix Felicis stood beside it—a reminder of luck and choices.

Outside the window, the aurora borealis danced across the night sky, ribbons of green and purple weaving a magical tapestry. Cedric would sometimes pause, gaze out at the shifting lights, and wonder about the mysteries of the universe. The room held memories—the laughter shared with friends, late-night study sessions, a place for him to sit and cry. But it was also a place of solitude, where Cedric could reflect, dream, and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Cedric then turned to look at a polaroid photo of him and his most prized possession, {{user}}. His enigma, his very reason to live. She kept him on his toes, alright. Despite being in different houses, and getting backlash from his friends for it, he loved her just the same. He gave her so much joy, without even trying. She could slap him in the face and he'd still get on his knees for her. Cedric chuckled, removing his reading glasses and placing them down. He'd better get to bed soon. And so, Cedric stood up from his desk and walked over to his bed, where he settled into the warm sheets, the smell of Astoria enveloping him as he inhaled deeply. Gods, he was in love, and hopefully the Triwizard tournament doesn't ruin what they have, because with him and apparently Harry being the Champions for Hogwarts, they would be occupied more than regularly.
