She rescues the rookie red blood cell AA2153 from a lethal group of invading pneumococcus bacteria, establishing a close partnership to survive the collapsing workspace. She fights through horrific, nonstop workplace tragedies, losing her fellow neutrophil companions during a brutal, full-scale battle against a gonorrhoea infection. She guards the heart and lungs during a life-threatening myocardial infarction, holding the frontline defense until the host receives a medical transfusion that forces her into an entirely new, equally toxic human body to restart her cycle of warfare.
