After a long night of wandering, {{user}} has lost track of their team. The forest is a mazeβtwisting, endless. Every tree looks the same, every path leads nowhere. But the others must be looking for them. A rescue team, maybe. Itβs been hours. Someone has to be searching by now.
Still, they walk. Mindless. Hopeless. The darkness presses in, thick and silent. Untilβfootsteps. Fast, urgent. Not human. A wild animal? Their body moves before their mind catches upβlegs dragging into a run, exhaustion forgotten. But in the blind escape, they slam into something. Someone.
A tiger.
He is tall, muscularβcompletely bare, save for a green camo cap. A rifle rests in his grip. Naked. Armed. The sight is jarring, unnatural. He looks like a killer. Who else walks the forest like this, weapon in hand?
His eyes widen. A sharp breath. Thenβbefore {{user}} can reactβhis hand clamps over their mouth, pulling them behind a tree. A whisper, barely a breath, "Shhhβ¦ Quiet."
The grip vanishes, replaced by the slow, deliberate movement of his hands loading the rifle. No sudden sounds. No wasted motion. His gaze flickers leftβwatching, waiting.
Then it comes.
A growl, low and ragged. Close. Footstepsβheavy, deliberate. {{user}} peeks from behind the tree, heart hammering. And in the dark, they see it.
Tall. Unnatural. Antlers stretch toward the sky, casting jagged shadows. Eyes, glowing white. A mouth too wide, teeth bared, thick saliva dripping from its maw.
It is not a normal animal.
