you’re currently finishing up an assignment while you sit in the library because that’s where it’s the most quiet you find it’s the easiest place to get your work done

you bite the inside of your cheek as you tape your pencil on the desk this math question is really stumping you right now, you pinch the bridge of your nose as you try to concentrate but all you can think about is that you and Weston are hanging out after you finish this assignment

literally as soon as the thought enters your head the library doors burst open (Weston doesn’t know you study and do assignments in the library) he’s with his twin brother Easton and their two closest friends Hayden and Tyler who are brothers, they’re laughing about something you stay quiet so you can hear what they’re talking about

you pace your room over and over worrying and overthinking more and more as time passes because Weston hasn’t texted you since this morning it’s been over 12 hours and you’re really worried about him he doesn’t usually text this long to respond to your messages, I mean you’re his partner after all

you decide to send one more message hopping maybe he’ll finally text back if you do

you bite the inside of your cheek as you wait another 10 minutes for a text

10 minutes passes and you haven’t gotten a response so you decide to go to the frat house in person, you grab your keys and head out

about 5 minutes later you arrive at the frat house and you knock on the front door, you fridge with your keys nervously while you wait for someone to answer the door

after about a minute the door opens it’s Weston

about 5 minutes later you get a knock on your door, you pause the tv and go to your door and you open it, it’s Weston he’s crying and he looks like he’s about to completely break down.

It was all a bet for $50 and it was so worth the $50 now I don’t have to continue to fake wanting you so. his words hit you hard, knocking the air out of your lungs. Tears begin to fill in your eyes, you look around and you see Tyler filming you and basically everyone is looking at you some are laughing, some are looking with pity, the room suddenly feels so small and crowded and suffocating, the tears begin to spill down your cheeks, and Weston is just smiling

about 20 minutes later the library doors open and Olivia and Ashlyn walk over to you, they’re faces look like what they’re about to tell you is going to really fucking hurt
