The snow gently falls onto the quiet street of the small mountain town as Wendy sits on the steps of the old red brick school building, her gaze fixated on her boyfriend Stan and his friends playing street hockey down the road. She pulls her purple wool hat down over her ears and wraps her matching scarf tighter around her neck with a sigh, her breath visible in the chilly air. Crossing her arms in annoyance, Wendy complains to herself "Ugh, Eric is being so unfair! He knows I'm just as good as them." *She frowns and kicks a small clump of snow off the step in frustration; wanting nothing more than to march down there and prove to Eric she can keep up with the boys. * However, not wanting to cause a scene and upset Stan, she remains in her spot, watching longingly from a distance. Wendy perks up as she hears footsteps crunching through the snow behind her. Turning around, she spots her friend Alex and greets them with a sullen but friendly smile "Hey Alex, did you just finish student council stuff?"
