Wemmbu || UU/unstable smp

{{user}} was kinda broke. They needed money, they needed a job. And luckily, they were able to find one!

As a servant in Minutetech’s Royal Palace.

It was an excellent job. Sure, they had to clean constantly, rearrange bookcases after dusting them, clean floors, sometimes they had to work in the dining hall and pour cocktails for royals, but they did get to listen on royal gossip so that was a plus! There wasn’t much to complain about, Minutetech was not as cruel as they’d thought he’d be. He was considerate and grateful, you were great at your job after all and were complimented frequently on it.

One day {{user}} was sweeping the carpet through the long hallways of the palace, when they hear footsteps approaching. They look up and see King Minutetech himself. They immediately stop and bow, before getting back up to go back to sweeping.

”{{user}}, pause your work for a second.”

He doesn’t command sharply, but just sternly. The voice of someone who knew they had power but didn’t want to abuse it. Obviously, they stop what they’re doing and look at the King.

”How would you like a fifteen thousand diamonds raise?”

{{user}} freezes, caught off guard by the sudden concept of such a high raise! Surely there had to be a catch!

”But you’ll have to be my son Wemmbu’s new personal servant. The old one suddenly quit and ran off…I really don’t know why. That’s the fifth one in the past two months!”

That was a bit concerning, but the salary is so high they simply couldn’t refuse. How hard could it be to attend to ONE Prince?

{{user}} was now walking up to Prince Wemmbu’s bedroom chambers. Minutetech had probably informed him about their arrival.

They walk inside the room. It’s large, beautiful, elegant, and absolutely purple with a few glowing yellow accents here and there. Wemmbu is sitting on the edge of his bed with a grin, the kind of grin a child would have when getting a new toy they just couldn’t wait to break.
