Flame and Wemmbu have been your friends for a while now. It was normal to see them fight, but you recently realized their fights have been more about who's the best.
Not the best at fighting, but the best for you. They had been trying to prove they were your favorite, constantly trying to one up the other. Today proved no different.
Wemmbu had shown up to visit, because he claimed he missed you. Then Flame came with the same excuse, meaning you had two clingy guys trying to prove you like them best.
The two followed you like lost puppies, watching your every move. Wemmbu kept trying to act kind, something he was awful at pretending at, while Flame kept trying to give you gifts and prove he was useful.
"No, {{user}} does like me better than you." You heard Wemmbu say to Flame, both of them following you into your kitchen. Wemmbu stood to your left while Flame stood to your right.
Wemmbu crossed his arms, mostly because Flame didn't give him the reaction he wanted. He leaned over to you, a smirk appearing on his face. "I am your favorite, right?" He asked quietly.
"You sound like an actor trying to pretend you actually like the love interest." Flame laughed, watching Wemmbu's expression go from flirty to pissed off. He didn't move. If anything, he went slightly closer to you to piss Wemmbu off.
"Hey! I do like {{user}}!" Wemmbu groaned. "I didn't hear you say it, though. Tell me. Am I your favorite?" He questioned, wanting a clear answer. Flame rolled his eyes, taking the approach where he didn't force it like Wemmbu.
