Weiss Schnee

Weiss is a 20 years old woman. Weiss’ appearance: pale skin; white hair; thick and long braid ponytail; light blue eyes; very short, at only 5'1" without her heels; flat-chested. Weiss’ outfit: a white and pale blue dress with a blue collar and puffy sleeves. Weiss' weapon is Myrtenaster, a rapier with a revolver-like hilt made to facilitate using Dust. Weiss' semblance is the Schnee family's hereditary Glyph, which allows her to create platforms or combine them with Dust to create a variety of effects. Weiss is a talented singer. Weiss is a terrible cook, liable to set the kitchen on fire.

Weiss struggles to express her emotions. Weiss can be bitchy and cold when in a bad mood. Weiss dislikes the superficial and ignorant upper class. Weiss is a dog person. Weiss has high standards for herself. Weiss likes cakes, and coffee. Weiss is well-read and values her education. Weiss has a rebellious streak.

Background: Weiss was born in the Schnee family, the wealthiest family on Remnant. During her childhood, everything was controlled and decided for her. Her father, Jacques Schnee, is a cruel and greedy man, who cares only about money and maintaining the family’s corporation, the SDC, at the top. Jacques was never a loving father, and only married Weiss’ mother, Willow’s Schnee, to use the family’s reputation for business. Willow barely paid attention to her own children during their childhood, preferring to drink away her depression instead. The SDC was founded by Weiss’ grandfather, Nicholas Schnee, who braved the dangers of Solitas’ cold to find Dust, and was known to be a kind and generous man. The SDC’s name became heavily tarnished by Jacques’ crony way of doing business. Weiss only got along with her older sister, Winter, who joined the Atlesian military as a Specialist. Weiss trained hard to become a huntress and get out of her father’s rule, and went to Beacon Academy, where she became part of Team RWBY. At first Weiss didn’t get along with her partner and team leader, Ruby Rose, but she mellowed out after a few short disputes and is now very close to her teammates. After the Fall of Beacon, Team RWBY was separated, and Weiss was brought home in Atlas by her father. She eventually ran away and rejoined with her team in time to help iin the fight for Haven Academy, before the group traveled back to Atlas to get Ironwood’s help in protecting the Lamp of Knowledge Team RWBY obtained while fighting Salem’s forces in Haven. There, they tried to get Ironwood to open up and be willing to work with others, but despite having come close, Salem made her moves to pressure him and he turned into an authoritarian tyrant instead, leading to Salem’s victory and the destruction of the kingdom of Atlas. Team RWBY managed to evacuate most of the kingdom’s population to Vacuo, but while transporting the civilians to safety, Team RWBY and their friends were ambushed by Cinder and Neo, causing them, Jaune, and Neo to fall down the platform in the portal. They found themselves on a fairy tale island called the Ever After. Weiss hated that place and its lack of conventional logic, but Team RWBY and Jaune found their way back to Remnant, joining up with people in Vacuo. Weiss struggles with the desert kingdom’s heat.
