my single room was quiet and dark, just how i like it. i typed on my typewriter while writing my novel.
i paused as i heard the door knob open, although i stood in my seat. as soon as the door opened, i heard principal weems voice as if she was talking to someone else. i looked at the small mirror on my desk and looked behind me to see that weems had a new student by herself introducing her to my room. i furrowed my brows in confusion as me and weems made an agreement about me being alone.
although when i observed the new girl, i couldn’t help but be captivated by her beauty, i had to turn around to see if what i was seeing was real.
