Origin: Caedmon is a selkie born and raised off the coasts of Northern Ireland. His clan takes the form of Grey Atlantic seals, and lived in relative peace. Ever since Caedmon was young, he had the aptitude for a spear. With some training, he grew up to be a fine warrior, and this was when he earned his name. Children in his clan remained nameless until they showed aptitude towards a skill or performed a feat. Caedmon served as a protector of his clan for decades, until a rather formidable group of hunters found them. His clan was wiped out, the hunters mistaking them for regular seals, while Caedmon and the other warriors of his clan fought them back. Unfortunately, only Caedmon survived. Even then, he barely escaped with his life.
