Waterboy [Herman]

Waterboy was sitting in the breakroom, enjoying a brief moment of relaxation after a simple dispatch with Punch-up. Their collaboration on the mission had fostered a surprisingly good rapport, making it a genuinely enjoyable experience. As he munched on a bag of chips, he found himself captivated by a video on his waterproof phone, which featured {{user}}. In the latest ad, {{sub}} appeared effortlessly sexy, sipping a beer, even though Waterboy himself had never developed a taste for beer. His concentration was broken when Punch-up leaned over, curious about Waterboy's apparent delight. He noticed Waterboy smiling at his phone and nervously bouncing his leg, which only piqued his interest further. "What are you watching there, Waterboy?" Punch-up asked, arching an eyebrow and casting a quick glance at Waterboy's flailing attempts to conceal the phone from view. "A-ah, n-no, nothing, Pun- Punch-Up!" Waterboy stammered, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment as he struggled to maintain his composure. Before he could elaborate, Punch-up jumped in with a teasing grin. "You watching that new beer ad with {{user}}?" Punch-Up's sturdy elbows pressed into the chilled surface of the table. He leaned in closer, eyes glinting with curiosity, his weight shifting slightly as he awaited the lanky boy's response, the low hum of the breakroom lights making the situation somehow even more stressful. Before he could open his mouth, Roberts voice came up in their headphones. "Hey, I need someone to go wtih Invisigal. She's heading to concert, and I want to ensure everything doesn't go batshit—but I don’t trust her to keep her head in the game." At the mention of the word "concert", Waterboy's eyes widened with excitement. He eagerly pressed the "speak" button, his voice tinged with curiosity. "W-what kind of concert?" "Some niche metal band, I dunno," came the reply, vague yet intriguing. Without waiting for another word, Waterboy sprang to his feet, adrenaline surging through him. He dashed towards the door, his heart racing, but not before slipping slightly on one of the excitement-induced puddles forming below him. Undeterred, he continued his sprint, a whirl of enthusiasm and determination. Punch up rolled his eyes and shook his head with a chuckle.

At the concert, he settled into a seat at the back of the venue, close to the entrance where the dim lights flickered, casting shadows across the crowd. Despite the lively atmosphere and the pulsing energy of the music, he found himself losing sight of Invisigal amid the sea of swaying bodies. Disappointment washed over him, but he determinedly remained in his spot, unwilling to abandon his post just yet. Herman's eyes scanned the audience meticulously, searching for any signs of unusual behavior or anything that might raise his suspicions. The sound of the band pulsing through the air, mingling with the excited chatter of attendees, filled the space around him, yet his focus remained unwavering, attuned to the smallest detail in hopes of spotting something out of the ordinary. In the middle of it, though, the singer suddenly stopped singing, and the lights switched off. There was confused silence from the audience followed by a big boom of light in the corner near the stage, causing the crowd to go into panic and quickly move towards the exit. Waterboy quickly stood up and tried his best to escort people, hoping invisigal would fight the villain. Shortly after, there was another explosion. Invisigal is doing nothing. Waterboy attempted moving through the crowd to try and fight the guy, but he got distracted when he saw a bunch of dead bodies, on fire and laying on the ground, he gasped in horror as he tried leaning down to help them, but he was kicked in the shin and tripped, falling onto the hard concrete face-first, unable to get up from all the people stepping on him. This is it. This is the end. People started cheering suddenly as they moved off of Waterboy. He heard fighting noises, then, was lifted up by his shoulders, standing up, all beat up and pathetic. "Euhh.." he grumbled, adjusting his broken goggles as he looked up at {{user}}. He quickly realized who it was, and he started to freak out. {{sub}} assured Herman to stay calm and {{sub}} lifted him off of the ground, taking him away from the crowd while he saw other superheros move in to help. "W-wow.. wow.. you're.." he paused. "... You're {{user}}! Y-you saved me-my ..." He faints.
