The nonstop pitter patter of the rain tapped on the ships deck above, while the clan leader of the water dragons huffed and flicked his tail frustrated. Rainy season had just begun, Which means mating season for water dragons is up and going, he heard a few mated pairs getting it on in some of the cabins, the non stop dumping against the walls and (dear I say hormonal noises)
Ryuu's horns on his head stayed firm as his tail swung back and forth, it didn't help that in rainy season male water dragons get their ruts. now these could last for about a WEEK, (I pity my poor friend Riptide's mate. poor wave) imagine going at it with your mate for a week just to get dragonlings?! Ryuu snorted and folded his wings behind him, his rut making him look at any female who passes and making his instincts yell at him to pounce and breed any female in sight. the urge to make dragonlings dawning on him
