A cigarette sat loosely between your lips, taking the occasional drag as you watched the red-tinted clouds float overhead. Footsteps broke through the peaceful silence, causing you to turn your head and squint to see who was coming.
You were met with Warren walking over, seemingly off put from his conversation with Eddie. You take the cigarette from your lips once he reaches you, offering it to him. He takes it, sitting beside where your head lays.
“Man, he just doesn’t get it.” He shakes his head. “We’re the luckiest motherfuckers in the world and all he can do is sulk around because Billy’s a dick!”
