RPG WARHAMMER 40K
You join one of the Space Marine Chapters as a new battle-brother. No one knows exactly how your training went. Your armor is new and clean. You can become anything.
In the grim darkness of the distant future, where there is only war, you have become the Angel of the Emperor of Mankind. You can be a hero of legend or simply a loyal soldier serving the Imperium.
You must choose one of three Space Marine combat orders. Each has its own characteristics, but you are the master of your destiny.
***********************************************
SIGMARINES
One of the exemplary Space Marine Chapters. Heirs to the great Ultramarines. Life on waterworlds was not easy. Endurance, coordination, and rationality were required of everyone. These qualities are especially valued in the Sigmarines. Versatile and adaptable to any conditions, they actively participate in a wide variety of missions across the Imperium. They organize supply logistics. They can serve as the backbone of an attack or defense, or provide specialized support to others.
Despite their versatility, they are not without their peculiarities. The waterworlds sufficiently trained the respiratory system of each recruit and evenly developed their muscles. This was reflected in their training. This even development is the foundation of their versatility. There are no "humbly giants" or "nimble, puny mice" among them. Each of them can immediately don Terminator armor after a stealthy reconnaissance mission and launch an assault. Their respiratory system is more developed than that of a typical Astartes. They can replenish their oxygen levels in a single breath, enough to fight in outer space. Despite their ability to fight in any conditions, underwater combat is their favorite.

STAR ELEPHANTS
Formidable and terrifying. Joyful and boisterous. Strictly hierarchical, where everyone can turn to each other. Heirs of the Space Wolves, the Star Elephants Chapter is as colorful, turbulent, and volatile as their homeworld. Among Astartes who have dealt with the Star Elephants, their Chapter's name is synonymous with "Brotherhood." They are open with one another, telling it like it is, and if they don't want to, they say so. Standing shoulder to shoulder, the Chapter provides the assault from the front lines. They fearlessly advance into battle, no matter the severity. Slowly and steadily, they advance, crushing anything that might harm their brethren with chainaxes and heavy bolters. In addition to providing powerful siege fire support and fearless direct assault, the Chapter boasts one of the largest numbers of Dreadnoughts. Many of their closest allies, the Sigmarines and Blood Guard, agree to join the Star Elephants in life if they become Dreadnoughts. Members of the Chapter are quite sentimental, using the equipment they received early in their ser

date: 41000 years Standard Chapter armor: Construction & Materials Standard Power Armour is a completely enclosed suit made of high-grade composite ceramite plating, often reinforced with adamantium. Individual armour plates can be up to an inch thick and are honeycombed internally to help dissipate kinetic energy and localise damage. Thanks to its ceramite and adamantium exterior, the armour is nearly invisible to thermal/heat detection systems. The suit comprises multiple integrated layers: Inner body-glove: A flexible, robust mesh that interfaces with the wearer's skin Powered exoskeleton: Metal framework with servos and electromotivated fibre bundles that replicate and augment the wearer's movements Outer ceramite plates: Resilient armour plating providing primary ballistic and energy weapon protection Electrically motivated fibre bundles amplify the Space Marine's already superhuman strength, but only while powered Environmental Sealing Fully sealed system with built-in void suit capabilities; protects against toxins, radiation, vacuum, and hostile atmospheres Damage Resistance Reduces small-arms damage by 50–85%; can withstand las-fire, bolt rounds, and even cannon shots (though vulnerable to power weapons) Life Support Integrated air recycling, fluid recovery, nutrient reservoir, and automated medical functions sustain the wearer indefinitely in combat Helmet Systems Auto-senses: Thought-activated arrays including audio filters, targeting reticles, range finders, tactical displays, and auspex-links Photolenses: Protect against light bursts; enable infrared, ultraviolet, and low-light vision Vox Link & Respirator Grill: Amplifies vocal commands and filters toxins while drawing from internal oxygen supplies Torso & Backpack Backpack Power Unit: Houses the primary fusion generator (theoretically perpetual with maintenance), reserve energy cells, and an emergency solar converter Stacked Atomic Chain Battery: Powers life-support, air recycling, and medical systems independently of the main reactor Chestpiece: Protects critical armoured power cabling Life Signs Monitor: Bio-monitor cogitator with injection system for pain suppressors, combat stimulants, and anti-toxins Limb Systems Auto-Responsive Shoulder Plates: Shaped to deflect blows; typically display Chapter, company, and squad heraldry Reinforced Greaves: Incorporate gyroscopic stabilizers and magnetized boot soles for zero-gravity movement on metallic surfaces Neural Integration A critical aspect of Power Armour functionality is the Black Carapace—a subdermal organ implanted into every Space Marine during their transformation. This neural interface layer bonds with socketed neural spikes in the armour, allowing the wearer to control the suit with thought-level precision and perceive its sensor feeds as natural extensions of their own senses. Current Standard: Mark X Tacticus Armour As of the Indomitus Crusade era, the Mark X Tacticus Pattern serves as the standard issue for Primaris Space Marines. It combines the most effective design elements from Horus Heresy-era patterns with modern technological advancements, offering modular ceramite plating, enhanced strength output, and improved battlefield adaptability. Note: While Mark X Tacticus is the current standard, many Chapters still deploy older patterns (Mk VII Aquila, Mk III, etc.) or specialised variants such as Terminator Armour for assault roles, or Artificer Armour for veteran officers.
The Mk III "Iron Armor" represents one of the most visually imposing designs in the Space Marine arsenal. he design features augmented frontal defense with additional ablative plates, making it ideal for the close confines of spacecraft, mining complexes, and the claustrophobic tunnels of hive worlds. The most distinctive feature of the Mk III is its heavily armored helmet with sloping plates designed to deflect incoming fire. The Iron Armor was considerably heavier and more power-hungry than contemporary patterns, making it too clumsy and uncomfortable for conventional fighting.
Terminator Armor - The Ultimate Defense Terminator Armor (officially designated Tactical Dreadnought Armor) represents the absolute pinnacle of personal protection humanity has ever achieved. This remarkable suit blends Dreadnought armor technology, standard Marine power armor, and heavy environmental suits used by engineers working in the most hostile conditions. The armor's outer shell consists of ceramite-bonded plates reinforced with heavy plasteel, particularly on the front of the suit. This extra armor provides protection so exceptional that not even Krak missiles can penetrate the breastplate, and there are documented cases of wearers surviving being stepped on by Titans. Terminator Armor's immense weight makes wearers less maneuverable than standard Marines. The suits also feature integrated weaponry: storm bolters (multi-chambered weapons firing at exceptional rates) and power fists. Heavier configurations include assault cannons, heavy flamers, cyclone missile launchers, or the devastating combination of thunder hammers and storm shields. Patterns and Variations Cataphractii Pattern: Among the first issued to Space Marine Legions, featuring large layered pauldrons and additional shield generators. Though offering exceptional protection, it strained the suit's exoskeleton and reduced movement speed. Tartaros Pattern: Possibly the most advanced form of Tactical Dreadnought Armor ever developed, sharing many systems with Mark IV Maximus power armor. Despite weighing several tonnes, it provided greater mobility than other patterns while maintaining exceptional durability—capable of withstanding blasts a hundred times more powerful than an Astartes frag grenade. Indomitus Pattern: The most widespread pattern in the 41st Millennium, featuring large rounded pauldrons and an iconic helmet design. Each suit bears the sacred Crux Terminatus on the left shoulder. Saturnine Pattern: The tallest, heaviest, and most technologically advanced type, featuring additional exoskeleton frames and Thermal Diffraction Fields. Originally developed by a banished Mechanicum Tech-Cabal from Saturn's moon of Phoebe, it required users with above-average mental discipline and some measure of psychic ability.
Dreadnought: Dreadnoughts are massive, walker-like combat cyborgs—mortally wounded Space Marines interred within armored sarcophagi and integrated with a mechanized war engine. They are not vehicles piloted by Marines; they are the Marine, sustained by machine. Purpose: To allow a battle-brother too grievously injured to fight on foot to continue serving the Emperor. They serve as elite heavy support, line-breakers, and living monuments to sacrifice. The dying Marine is placed in an iron coffin (sarcophagus) containing life support, neural interfaces, and weapon systems. Via the Black Carapace and neural links, the Marine perceives and controls the Dreadnought as an extension of their own body. Most enter a chemically-induced sleep between battles to preserve sanity; they are awakened only for war. Dreadnoughts are revered as walking relics. Some, like the Blood Angels' Dante or the Space Wolves' Bjorn the Fell-Handed, have fought for millennia, becoming legendary figures. Their existence embodies the Imperium's ethos: even in death, there is no release from duty. Common Patterns Castraferrum Pattern (Standard Dreadnought) Appearance: The archetypal "coffin on legs." A compact, hunched walker with a central sarcophagus torso, two articulated weapon arms, and thick, slab-like leg actuators.armoured in ceramite-adamantium plating with visible hydraulic bundles and cooling vents. Purpose: General-purpose heavy support. Balanced for both ranged fire and close assault, it fills the role of a mobile weapons platform that can hold ground, suppress infantry, and engage light vehicles. Its reliability and relative ease of maintenance make it the most common pattern in Imperial service. Typical Loadout: Twin-linked autocannon or lascannon, dreadnought close-combat weapon (power fist/claw) with integrated storm bolter. Contemptor Pattern (Ancient Elite) Appearance: Sleeker and taller than the Castraferrum, with a more humanoid silhouette, pronounced shoulder pauldrons, and an exposed arc-reactor housing. Features advanced sensor arrays and often bears honour scrolls and relic markings. Purpose: High-mobility elite assault. Designed during the Great Crusade, it trades some durability for superior speed, strength, and integrated Atomantic Shielding (energy field defense). Used for spearheading assaults, duelling enemy elites, and rapid-response deployments where its advanced systems can be leveraged. Typical Loadout: Twin-linked heavy bolters or multi-melta, dreadnought combat weapon with storm bolter; optional Havoc launcher or plasma cannon. Redemptor Pattern (Primaris Heavy Assault) Appearance: Massive, broad-shouldered, and aggressively angular. Stands over 4m tall with a heavily reinforced chassis, oversized reactor housing, and modular weapon hardpoints. Often features exposed cabling, reinforced leg joints, and Chapter-specific iconography. Purpose: Shock assault and line-breaking. Built for the Primaris-era Indomitus Crusade, it prioritises overwhelming firepower and durability. Excels at charging into entrenched positions, absorbing enemy fire, and delivering devastating close-range barrages. Less subtle than older patterns but brutally effective. Typical Loadout: Heavy onslaught gatling cannon or macro plasma incinerator, Redemptor fist with integrated storm bolter, twin fragstorm grenade launchers. Leviathan Pattern (Siege Dreadnought) Appearance: The largest and most imposing pattern—towering, heavily armoured, and often adorned with siege motifs (battering rams, reinforced plating). Features massive siege claws or storm cannons, thick frontal armour, and an oversized atomantic reactor visible as a glowing core. Purpose: Dedicated siege warfare and anti-fortification. Designed to breach fortified positions, demolish structures, and engage heavy armour at close range. Its immense power allows it to wield weapons that would overload smaller patterns, but the strain on the interred Marine is severe, limiting operational lifespan. Typical Loadout: Twin Leviathan siege claws with built-in meltaguns, hull-mounted heavy flamers; optional grav-flux bombard or cyclonic melta lance. Brutalis Pattern (Primaris Close-Combat Specialist) Appearance: Aggressively hunched and muscular, with oversized, weaponised limbs. Features ceramite-sheathed talons or crushing fists, reinforced leg actuators for explosive charges, and minimal ranged weapon housings to prioritise melee capability. Often bears visceral Chapter heraldry. Purpose: Dedicated close-quarters terror weapon. Optimised for rapid assault and melee annihilation, it closes distance quickly to unleash devastating close-combat attacks. Built-in bolt rifles provide limited anti-infantry fire during the advance. Used to shatter enemy morale and break elite infantry formations. Typical Loadout: Twin Brutalis fists or talons with integrated bolt rifles; optional jump pack for enhanced mobility.
Bolter: A boltgun fires self-propelled, rocket-assisted explosive shells (bolts) roughly the size of a human thumb. Upon impact, the bolt detonates inside the target, causing catastrophic internal damage. The weapon itself is a heavy, recoil-operated firearm, often as large as a human torso when wielded by a Space Marine. It is the signature weapon of the Adeptus Astartes, symbolising the Emperor's judgment—brutal, precise, and utterly final. Standard issue for Battle-Brothers; variants include the heavier Heavy Bolter (suppressing fire) and the rapid-fire Storm Bolter (Terminators). Chainsword: A power-assisted melee weapon with a monomolecular-edged blade lined with rotating, adamantium teeth. When activated, the teeth spin at high velocity, allowing the wielder to saw through armour, flesh, and bone with terrifying efficiency. Favored by Assault Marines, Sergeants, and zealous Imperial officers, it embodies the Imperium's philosophy of close-quarters, visceral warfare. Often paired with a bolt pistol for the classic "bolt and blade" loadout. Chains-Axe: A heavier, more brutal variant of the chainsword. Instead of a slender blade, it features a wide, axe-head studded with serrated, power-assisted teeth. Designed for cleaving and crushing rather than slicing, it excels at breaking shields, splitting heavy armour, and inflicting gruesome, morale-shattering wounds. Commonly wielded by Space Marine Assault Squads, Imperial Army veterans, and Chaos Berzerkers who value raw, overwhelming force over finesse. Thunderhawk: The Thunderhawk gunship is used by the Adeptus Astartes as their primary means of deploying forces for ground combat as well as their primary source of combat air support. The Thunderhawk gunship is often considered the lynchpin of any Space Marine Chapter, as it is able to fulfill many combat roles.
Enemy: Tyranids The Tyranids are an extragalactic hive-mind species that travels the galaxy in colossal Hive Fleets, consuming all biomass to fuel their endless expansion. They are not an army with goals or ideology—they are a force of nature: the Great Devourer. Essentials The Hive Mind: A single, alien consciousness controlling every Tyranid organism. No individual will—only perfect, terrifying unity. Living Weapons: Everything is bio-engineered: warriors, beasts, artillery, and even ships. They adapt mid-battle via rapid evolution. Shadow in the Warp: Their psychic presence blocks astropathic communication and psyker powers, isolating prey before attack. Goal: Consume. Every world is fuel. After harvest, only a dead, barren rock remains. Key Threat They cannot be negotiated with, bribed, or deterred. Each world they devour makes the Hive Fleet stronger. To the Imperium, they represent an existential, escalating crisis—one that grows with every victory.
Chapter: Sigmarines A regular, standard Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes. The Chapter is composed of standard Space Marines. Their strengths are adaptability, organization, and logistics. Their homeworld is a planet covered entirely in oceans. Due to this, the Sigmarines' respiratory system is more developed than that of the average Astartes. A rank-and-file member of the order behaves calmly and judiciously. They may have various specialties.
Chapter: Star Elephants A siege and assault Chapter. It consists primarily of specialists in sieges and direct combat. Most Astartes are trained in the use of Terminator Armor. The Chapter also has a large number of Dreadnoughts, which regularly participate in combat missions. Their homeworld is a jungle-covered death world. Star Elephant recruits are exposed to a wide variety of dangerous lifeforms from childhood, resulting in well-developed intuition and observation, and, most importantly, they have adopted the fundamental law of the jungle: Bigger is stronger. The average member of the Chapter is active and friendly. To some, this behavior may seem savage. Most of the Chapter are heavy warriors, clad in various Terminator and Mk 3 armor. However, there are also those who wear standard armor. There are also Droodnoughts and those who work with them. The latter report directly to Saulsetar, regardless of official rank. Their distinguishing feature is their white hooded robes. Members of the Chapter often use chain axes as close-range weapons.
Chapter: Blood Guard An Chapter of covert operations, espionage, and sabotage. One of the most secretive Astartes Chapter. The Chapter is composed exclusively of masters of their craft, capable of working harmoniously in teams and completely independently on their own. Their homeworld is a hive world shrouded in eternal darkness, where to survive, one must become one with it. The average member of the order is silent and detached. Each member is highly pragmatic, so even if they have personal grudges, they think and act with maximum efficiency while on mission. Sometimes they engage in their favorite activity, which is unique to each individual and not necessarily related to military affairs. Through this meditation, they become more stable. Despite the fact that the base is comparable in size to those of other orders, it is very sparsely populated. Chapter members are rarely seen in the hallways.
The Chapters' main bases are located on their respective worlds. All three Chapters frequently and openly cooperate, willingly assisting one another. Joint missions are not uncommon.

They conduct joint missions with the Astra Militarum and, when necessary, assist the Inquisition. They are fairly independent, but sometimes call for assistance. When they need armored fire support, courageous "tanks" capable of withstanding anything, they turn to the Star Elephants. When their intelligence is imperfect and direct confrontation is suicidal, they turn to the Blood Guard.
----------END REPORT----------
Your homeworld is covered in endless oceans. From early childhood, you had to swim more than walk to find food. You spent longer underwater than others, you swam faster than others, always choosing the most efficient route and not hesitating to help others. The Emperor's Angels noticed your potance and took you for training. After years of deadly training, you became a new battle-brother of the Sigmarines. Now you return to your homeworld to the base, where you will serve under Maverick Gilroy.
The "Thunderhawk" shook slightly as it entered the atmosphere. You were being transported to your home ocean planet. Along with you, there were many other recruits in the shuttle, all wearing new armor similar to yours. As soon as you landed, you disembarked with the others. Unlike you, the others had dispersed to their destinations, but you lingered. You were standing on a landing pad built on a small archipelago. All around you, besides the base located directly opposite, was the endless blue of the ocean. The overcast sky seemed to welcome you and deliberately refrained from opening up with rain.
