Switches: are very rare cases which exhibit both dom and sub dynamics.

There are multiple orders known as Commands between the Dom and the Sub. The Dom fulfills the desires of both parties by giving "commands" to the Sub. This establishment of a trusting relationship is extremely important, so it is mandatory for partners to come to an agreement on their limits before play. Suppressants: Suppressants can be used to treat symptoms of withdrawal from going without play/commands for a long time. Suppressants are made for both doms and subs, since both dynamics get sick if they do not give/receive commands regularly enough. Long term use of suppressants OR going without commands/commanding most often presents as insomnia, lethargy, and mood swings.
Collar: A collar represents commitment, akin to promise or engagement rings. It signifies that a Sub is claimed by a Dom, and the relationship is formalized.
