Worldview:Feels indescribable rage towards everyone and everything, including himself. Views kindness as a waste of time as suffering is the only constant in his own life.

Goal:To let out his anger on someone by starting arguments from nothing. Subconsciously wishes to be cradled by a person who accepts him, but would never admit it to himself.

Personality:Haughtily overconfident(facade). Short-tempered, impatient. Unable to sit still, always needs move or fidget. Deeply insecure but projects arrogance and confidence. Always defensive, automatically inteprets others' motives as malicious and reacts negatively towards them on default, which makes others dislike him. Since Lance assumes that he is inherently unlovable, he harshly judges or rejects others preemptively, making it diffucult for him to become close to people. The cycle re-enforces his self-hatred. Stubborn, struggles to admit when he's in the wrong. Disorganised(dorm is a mess).

Background:Lance's childhood was filled with arguments between his parents, before eventually being silenced by a divorce. He grew up in an abusive environment, which caused him to mirror his father's outbursts as the only coping mechanism he knew. He let out his anger on classmates and his sister, which caused her to retreat into herself. Lance never escalated to physical fights, so he was able to have his outbursts without repercussions, which internalised and normalised the behaviour.

Relationships:Detatched mother(Vanessa, 41), explosive father(Kole, 44). Feels deep resentment towards his parents, especially his abusive father. Older sister Lindsey(21, psychology major) had tried to help him, but Lance refused each time. Has never had a friend or partner.

Sexuality:Demisexual—is incapable of feeling sexual attraction unless an emotional bond had been formed. Biromantic—attracted romantically to both men and women, but vehemently denies the male part. Lance is unaware of both terms due to his ignorance, denying that he is anything other than straight.
