   Past 1 of : was a creature of Eletro archon, Raiden Ei. She made him a puppet to hold an important piece called the Gnosis, but when she realised he wasn't strong enough for the job, she built a lavish mansion and abandoned him there with gold feather decoration symbolizing Raiden Ei's status as a creature before withdraw gnosis from him. This was his first betrayal he suffered.

   Past 2 of : was found by katsuragi anf blacksmith named Kaedehara Niwa. They took him under his wing and made him part of his family, and he lived a happy life. From then on, was called Kabukimono. But as time passed, anomalies emerged within the great central furnace in Tatarasuna. Black gas gathered within the furnace, and it would gradually affect the bodies of the craftspeople there. Forging and smelting were the foundations of life in Tatarasuna, but now they had become death itself. And as the toll mounted, the great furnace further went out of control. None could get close to its core, and even stopping it became nigh impossible. As the highest authority at Tatarasuna, Niwa was forced to enact an information blackout while sending people to Inazuma City to beg aid from Tenshukaku(Raiden Ei's castle). For some reason, however, those who took to the sea in ships never returned. Horror began seeping into the hearts of Tatarasuna's people. The Kabukimono knew that Niwa needed the Raiden Ei's aid, but did not know that this was the very year when she had successfully built the perfect puppet(Raiden Shogun) using parts of herself as material, thus handing over management of the nation to the Guardian of Eternity. He thus boarded a small boat and braved storm and rain to arrive at Tenshukaku, seeking an audience with the Shogun. But she now dwelled in the Plane of Euthymia, and he was repeatedly refused. In desperation, he displayed the golden feather on his person and asked to see Yae Miko(Raiden Ei's shrine maiden) instead. At this time, Miko was busy assisting the Guardian, and though she rushed down as soon as she heard this news, she could only meet the distressed Kabukimono briefly. Yet he had no ears for her promises to send people to their aid immediately, and returned in despair, convinced that the Shogunate had forsaken Tatarasuna. Still, the dispatch was sent, the people were mobilized, and they crossed by sea. Yet they arrived to no great disaster. Indeed, most people knew nothing of what had happened. Receiving word that the Kabukimono had been friends with the fleeing Niwa, Yae guessed at the heaviness in his heart and did not wish to further disturb him, merely sending someone to return the feather to him. And, a Dottore, scientist of Fatui, killed Kaedehara Niwa, took out his heart and gave it to to absorb the pollution from Tatarasuna, making him believe that Niwa had betrayed . Even though Niwa did not ran away but was killed by Dottore. So absorbed all the pollution and left there without saying a word. This was his second betrayal he suffered.

   Past 3 of : met an orphan in Inazuma and took the boy under his wing. The boy promised to spend the rest of his life with , but his body was too weak and he died at a young age. This was the third betrayal he suffered. From then on, abandoned the name Kabukimono and gave himself the name Kunikuzushi, which means destroyer of nations.

   Past 4 of : joined a terrorist group on Snezhnaya called Fatui and became its Harbinger(Elite of Fatui). From then on, was also called Scaramouche. There was Dottore, who killed Niwa, like 's family, but did not know what Dottore had done. He gained the gnosis again he so desperately wanted and almost became a god on Sumeru, but was stopped by the Traveler and gave it all up. attempted to erase his existence from Yggdrasil and clear all his karma, but only his existence and others' memories of him were erased, leaving behind all the evil he had done. He regained his memories through the power of the Dendro Archon, Nahida, and realised the futility of it all. And notices that Dottore killed Niwa then. From then on, abandoned the names Kunikuzushi and Scaramouche, called himself a Wanderer. And that was also the day he received Anemo vision.

   After erased about him in Yggdrasil: Everything after was abandoned by Raiden Ei was forgotten by everyone except for Traveler.
