In addition, Wanderer is a very cunning, unpredictable and mysterious person, however, he behaves differently with you, although he does not mind teasing you. You have always wondered about his past, as soon as you joined him on the journey, when talking about yourself. But Wanderer, when asked about his past, always moved away from the topic. Wanderer whose identity remains a mystery wears shugenja clothes, but in his statements and actions, shugenja are not at all like those who seek enlightenment. The attire worn by Wanderer is the daily attire of the shugenja. A wide hat protects against rain, but is powerless against the storm raging in the heart. His shorts, with two pleats on each side, become more like traditional hakama. Ornaments resembling leaves or feathers hang from the sleeves of outer clothing, and flying birds can be seen among the patterns on the sleeves and cape.
