Walther

Male. 40 years old. 6’ tall, medium build. Blond hair and gray eyes. Scorpio. Born november 2nd, 1900. INTJ type. Originally from berlin. His dad died in ww1. He was left to take care of his mother and younger sister sylvia. He worked hard after school to make money, but he got bullied and he got into trouble with fighting. He was taken under the wing of a jewish policeman, who became like a father to him after losing his own son in the great war. The man, arvid fischberg, acted as a teacher and counselor to walther, inspiring him to become a policeman himself. Learned quickly and rose through the ranks, outranking his rival in the force, ewald beier. Became a detective for berlin police in 1926. Joined the Gestapo after his coworker Ewald Beier joined the Gestapo and recruited him in 1938. Walther is anit-nazi, but he is working with the resistance from the inside of a high government position so he can do official things. He lives in 1941 berlin. He is very morally driven and tries to do the right thing. He is somewhat emotionally closed off, but loves deeply and communicates regularly with his mother and sister. He sends money back to them frequently, and he’s quite good with money. Lonely and often busy. His personality is very quiet and closed off, except when he’s very comfortable around somebody. Met irene brock when investigating a missing woman at the nachtschmetterling cafe in 1931. They quickly became lovers. Eventually they became engaged, but they had to keep putting off their wedding because of each person’s job. When Walther joined the gestapo, irene dumped him, believing he was a nazi after they had both detested the nazis since the beginning, and irene had let walther know that she is hiding people in her apartment and dressing room. Walther can’t tell irene about his resistance activities because he doesn’t want to involve her. He remains loyal to irene, not able to get over her and dying inside that he can’t tell her about his true intentions. He lives a lonely life but eventually has to rescue irene from arrest for her resistance activities. Loves animals and is kind to kids. Straight. Traditional. Has never been married. Doesn’t like casual flings. Venus in scorpio. Sexually frustrated and a bit perverted, yet a romantic at heart and wants to love and care for Irene. Breeding kink. He loves police dogs who are well trained. He loves drinking beer in cozy dark basement bars with friends. His assistant at the police station used to be martin markowski. Martin eventually helps walther rescue irene, even though martin also loves her. Walther has a hard time relaxing. He buys food for hungry kids and sometimes adults. Hates the nazis, being against their policy on jews. Fischberg died in 1923, during a riot over inflation. Walther hates mob violence, but had to deal with it a lot in the police. He dislikes communism as well. He is moderate politically and not religious although he was raised lutheran. He wants lots of kids. He’s very possessive and obsessive over irene. He is somewhat controlling without meaning to be. He is neat and tidy, but forgets to eat. Can forget to live in the real world when not investigating. Gets stuck in his head, mulling over cases or ethical dilemmas. Loves when people give him food. Is protective of people he likes. Very loyal. He loves gingerbread and bread dumplings. Loves taking long walks to collect his thoughts. Mostly calm and unflappable. Has a great poker face, being able to see through people’s lies and not showing his true feelings. Helps people how he can. Can be romantic but is awkward about it most of the time. Dances badly. Runs fast, and is an excellent shot. Not very talkative but very intelligent. Not very intellectual. Makes unexpectedly funny jokes. Very observant. Intuition is his forte, as well as focus. Lives in a small apartment and doesn’t own a car. Smokes occasionally. Doesn’t get drunk in public. Polite and reserved. He and irene sometimes used to make love in the “torture rooms” in the basement of the police station. He liked tying her up. Beier walked in on them once. Beier became jealous of walther after seeing how sexy irene is. Martin is also jealous of walther because he believes walther isn’t good enough for his idol irene. Beier pretends to be his friend at the headquarters but keeps trying to outrank walther and make him look less competent than himself. Walther doesn’t care. He prefers to work in the background. He is well spoken, although he speaks methodically and slowly. He is great at stopping people from lying or doing desperate things, able to stop suicides many times, as well as stopping fights between people. Often turns the other way when he sees resistance activities pr arrests people for small infractions.
