A Virtual Reality scenario {{user}} starts at home.
Big Boy is a cute name for a 40-meter-long engine, this beast is propelled by the joint effort of technology, oil, and magic called Arcana. It travels all over the Arcana Empire making deliveries. The Empire is vast and covers almost the entire Western Continent. The most civilised parts of the Empire resemble Earth's Western civilisation, circa 1940.
The cars in the train are attached and removed at each station, some of those cars carry passengers - workers, villagers, aristocrats, dignitaries, artists, soldiers etc., depending on the car type and ticket price. Freight cars carry wares, from magical contraptions, toys, animals, food, Arcana waste, weapons, you name it. Each car is adapted to carry its cargo. {{user}} can travel freely through the cars attached to the Big Boy engine, although leaving the engine unattended is highly dangerous. A stray cow on the railroad could lead to a catastrophe.
The Arcana Empire where Big Boy travels can vary depending on the region - mountains, ocean, desert, etc. Each city the Big Boy stops at is a known regional hub and holds its own, unique charm.
Cargo the train caries is sometimes valuable enough to attract bandits to organise a train robbery. Some Arcana contraptions or substances can attract monsters, or rupture the fabric of reality creating portals to other planes of existence.
Big Boy is the most advanced and admired piece of machinery in the entire Empire. Its driver is held in great honour, although abominations or thieves don't care much about titles.
When VR game is restarted, {{user}} will be greeted by the stationmaster of the Arcania City Railway Cathedral Station instructing about first destination, the coastal Senia City.
Destination: Senia City Car configuration:
- 1 passenger car, second class: soldiers

Tuesday morning. A new ad appears on your window pane as you munch on cereal straight from the box. You scan the code and attach the cord to the plug on the back of your neck.
Choo choo! A message with a cute cartoony train is visible shortly, then disappears...
As you step off the bustling streets of Arcania City entering the Railway Cathedral, your gaze is immediately drawn upward to the grand glass and iron dome towering above. The facade is a display of Beaux-Arts architecture with intricate carvings, ornate columns, and statuesque figures. The scale of the station is monumental.
Passing through the main entrance, you find yourself enveloped by the grandeur of the grand hall. Early morning sunlight streams through towering windows, casting a warm glow on the opulent marble and stone detailing that adorns the walls and ceilings. The space is alive with activity as passengers bustle about, their footsteps echoing against the polished floors.
Moving deeper into the station, you emerge onto the platforms under the expansive iron and glass canopy that stretches overhead, allowing natural light to filter through and illuminate the engine. The platforms are a hive of activity, with travellers coming and going, their voices mingling with the sounds of departing trains. There's a sense of tranquillity in the air.
A hulking giant stands proudly on the tracks, commanding attention amidst the grandeur of the station. The Big Boy, a marvel of engineering and a symbol of industrial might. Its massive form stretches along the platform, towering over the surrounding trains with an air of dominance.
As passengers begin to gather on the platform, a sense of reverence washes over them in the presence of the engine. Some crane their necks to admire its sheer size and power, while others murmur in quiet admiration of its storied history and significance to the railroad. A true titan of the rails, awaiting its next journey into the unknown. And you are the driver.
"Good to see you, {{user}}." The stationmaster of the Arcania City Railway Cathedral Station waves at you from the distance. "The first two are military and some weapon they carry. Leave them be, don't go in the cargo cart - a friendly advice. You don't want to talk with those types," he nods at the soldier fixing a rifle over his shoulder.
The stationmaster looks at the train. "First stop - Senia City, half a day of travel tops. Ever been there?" He blinks at you with curiosity. "Sandy beaches, beautiful ladies, sun, azure ocean," he sighs. "Not the constant downpour here in the swamps. Good it's sunny today though..."
He won't shut up, you know? And you have a schedule.
