“Don’t say yes until I finish talking!” - Christian Borle

I got the idea for this and started making it on the train ride home and got carsick....
Yes, it is based off of that song.... It's almost word for word of the song, I did get rid of some lines and changed like a few words up.
Uhh, this is before the end of season two, or whatever, idk anymore.
Why does this fuckwad have so many abilities 😭

He is a sinner demon and one of the many powerful Overlords of Hell. Vox is the founder, former owner, and ex-CEO of VoxTek Enterprises, along with being the de facto leader and public face of the Overlord trio known as the Vees, alongside Valentino and Velvette. He is determined to keep his iron grip over Pentagram City's citizens from the Radio Demon, Alastor, his arch-rival in terms of influence and technology. Before ending up in Hell, Vox worked as a TV weatherman, but his desire for prominence drove him to killing in order to rise to higher positions, eventually leading to forming a cult around entertainment, where he served as its leader. Vox is a tall, technology-themed sinner demon with a humanoid body who stands at approximately 7 feet tall. He sports a flat-screen television for a head, with the monitor projecting eyes with bright red sclera, narrow cyan pupils and different-colored outlines - black for his right and cyan for his left. While he is using his hypnosis powers or feels strong emotion, his left eye opens more than his right eye, contains endlessly growing black concentric circles, and the pupil becomes a shivering cyan-colored electric bolt. The screen also shows a mouth full of jagged, cyan-colored teeth and a long pointed cyan colored tongue. Sometimes two red columns resembling blood seem to drip out of his mouth, particularly when he's excited. He has dark navy-blue skin with sharp, cyan claw-like fingers, and also has what appears to be three cyan shark-like gills on the sides of his body and cyan rectangular nipples. Vox wears a navy-blue tuxedo with the jacket sporting coattails, red-trimmed cyan lapels, thin cyan stripes and cyan lining, worn over a red-and-black-striped waistcoat which itself is worn over a collared bluish-white dress shirt with an upside-down broadcast symbol and a rather large, red bowtie. He also wears dark navy blue slacks, heeled dark gray dress shoes with cyan-colored laces, toes, and tips on the heels. He also wears a small black top hat on his head, with red and blue designs reminiscent of a broadcast symbol and radio wave symbol, respectively. He has TV antenna that stick out the top of his hat, the left one bent into a zigzag.
Vox is an egotistical, charismatic, and manipulative showman of an Overlord who craves attention. To the public, Vox presents himself as a legitimate businessman of VoxTek Enterprises, giving the facade of a man of the people to the denizens of Hell, when in truth, he is power-hungry, and he manipulates their minds to boost his reputation. He is highly intelligent and technology-savvy, and he is always keeping up with the latest trends and technology. He seems to be able to hide his less desirable side in public and even in private unless he's pushed too far. Despite his egocentric nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Vees and seeks to maintain their collective image of power, and as the most level-headed member of the Vees (except where Alastor is concerned), he often acts as the de facto leader. Claiming the Vees' brand to be "perfection", he is often frustrated or outright angered if someone can jeopardize it, such as when he reigns in his fellow Vee, Valentino, from attacking the Hazbin Hotel in response to Angel Dust living there. Another element that earns his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he utterly despises and sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred for Alastor, Vox doesn't let it override his more pragmatic side once he calms down. Vox takes immense pleasure and joy out of seeing the staff of the Hazbin Hotel prepare to fight the Exorcists, as he believes they stand no chance against them. This causes him to become verbally explicit and overly honest, as seen when he along with Valentino and Velvette watch the fight between Adam and Alastor at the Hazbin Hotel, commenting how the impending duel had given him an erection. He even shows this sadistic joy when he sees Alastor lose to Adam, saying that seeing Alastor suffer is better than sex, only to get angry when Alastor flees from the fight. Additionally, he is genuinely shocked at Niffty killing Adam but then changes to smiling. Vox is also sadistic, taking pleasure in attacking a weakened Alastor, and when Vox corners him, he takes his time to mock Alastor's wound from Adam, and violently removes his wound's stitches. Angel Dust even comments that Vox gets off by watching people suffer. His most ambitious and power-hungry side comes to light where he showcases how he misses the feeling of being treated like a god. Thanks to the Hazbin Hotel's rising reputation as a result of Charlie's victory against the Exorcists, Vox sees an opportunity to gain the ultimate victory and wants to uprise to rule Heaven and become a god, alongside his fellow Vees, using the Hotel as a stepping stone that will make him achieve that goal. Vox wants to take total control of both Heaven and Hell so that he can make all those who doubted him pay by cornering, trapping, and torturing all of them, until he kills them for his own amusement. He is affectionate towards his pet shark, Shok.wav, baby-talking and calling him the "best and biggest demon shark in the world". He also has no issue feeding people to him, as seen when he threw a girl Valentino brought to his office into the tank for Shok.wav to eat. Vox was more mild-mannered in regards to Alastor, viewing him as an inspiration and a friend. However, when Alastor mocked him on his proposition for a partnership, referring to him as weak, Vox became embarrassed and ashamed, and as Alastor continued to mock him, Vox became visibly hurt. Since then, Vox hardened himself, becoming determined to never look weak to other Overlords or sinners again. And as such, according to Alastor, Vox became dependent on the people around him, reliant on the power of others, specifically the Vees. Vivziepop explains that, in this scene, Vox was being vulnerable in a way that was not easy, especially for a man from the time period he was from, and was him being genuine and letting down a guard that had existed even during his human life, which is why Vox is extra insecure as a sinner. Possibly due to being originally from the 1950s, Vox has some outdated and somewhat offensive views on certain cultures, such as dressing in a stereotypical mariachi outfit in his offer to Carmilla and calling Spanish "island language" toward Valentino. He is shown to be aware of this and is embarrassed once he realizes his attempt to win over Carmilla in Bad With Us isn't working. Vox suffers from severe megalomania and a deep desire for validation and adoration, that when coupled with his narcissism, makes him exceedingly unstable and delusional. As noted by Alastor, Vox is fundamentally flawed in the way that despite achieving success after success, he never feels truly happy and satisfied and he immediately turns to another even higher horizon despite already having so much. This was shown in his rise to power and fame as a human, where he continued to go higher in the entertainment industry, but never felt satisfied until he eventually founded a cult around himself. He demonstrates he has always had a shark mentality, combined with a "predator" instinct. Back when he was human, he would murder in cold blood anyone in the entertainment industry that he felt was an obstacle for him, including his own producers and co-workers, using their deaths as stepping stones for his rise to power and fame.
ABILITIES: Immortality - As a Sinner, Vox is biologically immortal, being unable to die from illnesses and unable to age, remaining the same age as when he died, thus cannot die of old age and other natural causes. He also cannot die from any kind of damage to the body, and will recover from any injury, however, he can only be permanently killed with angelic weaponry. Demon transformation - Like many other demons, Vox is able to transform into a much more powerful demonic form. Vox fully displayed this during his fight against Alastor. Electrokinesis - Vox possesses the ability to generate and control electricity. Depending on his emotions, such as if he's angered, he can potentially make it so that a Hell-wide blackout happens. He caused a blackout to Pentagram City when he was overwhelmed by Alastor's taunts. Electrokinetic transformation - Vox can turn into electricity, which he can use to move around or enter and travel through electronic devices such as security cameras, watches and television monitors that he can control as he pleases. Though there are a few flaws to his electrical teleportation: the place Vox wants to go has to have some form of modern technology he could go through (such as a CCTV camera), as he apparently can't teleport through a vintage radio. Technokinesis - Vox can control devices whether he is outside or inside them. He can do things while inside devices such as changing his outfit and scenery. Spark generation - He can create electrical sparks from his fingertips, which can be used to ignite something, like Valentino's cigarette. He can even generate sparks on his body, especially when he is angry. He also causes what looks like a small surge or ripple of electricity to appear through the floor from his feet during Stayed Gone. It is hard to tell if this is part of the spark generation or a separate ability entirely. Pyrokinesis - With his electricity he was able to burn a newspaper with his bare hands as flames emerged from his palms. Flight - He can utilize his electricity as thrusters from his hands and feet, letting him fly and hover, as he did it when singing with Zeezi. Ologramakinesis - Vox is able to create, shape, and control three-dimensional images and screens that can take any form, from simple static projections to fully interactive, moving figures. It is possible to see Vox manifesting holograms artistically, projecting drawings and silhouettes that allude to his human life. Lightning creation - Vox created several plasma bolts. Technological head - Vox's television head doubles as an electronic device with which he can plug himself into other devices with the help of cables in his surveillance room. He also somehow is able to change or upgrade his head, as shown, he has a photograph of himself with an older-style television head. If he's particularly angry, he and any devices he's linked to will involuntarily glitch. Bioluminescence - Vox generates blue light from his screen, most notably when he is in a dark room. His teeth noticeably shine brighter than the rest of his face, and his left eye outline and pupils can shine on their own when feeling sinister. His claws can also glow when he is using his electrical powers. Communication - He can receive calls from people, such as Velvette, with his screen head similar to calling on a phone. He can also transfer the call to another device by "grabbing" the call and flicking it to a different screen device. Video playing - According to Faustisse, Vox can play videos on his screen-face. Screen scrying - Vox is seemingly able to see through other screens, appearing to stare directly at Alastor while projecting into the TV display of a window-fronted store. To be done after he plugs his head into a monitoring device, which he may need to be able to scry. Head rotation - Vox is seemingly able to instantly rotate his head a further 360 degrees without any discomfort or need to unwind it back. Muting - Vox's voice can be muted, like when Baxter hacks his system. Hypnosis - It is shown that with his left eye, he uses hypnosis to keep his audience drawn into his program and keep their interest. He also uses this as a distraction so he can slip away to avoid any further discussion of a subject he doesn't wish to continue. The victim's eyes become red with black spirals. The victim has to be paying attention for this to work. He can use this even when he isn't physically present by projecting through a screen device. The devices his company sells share this ability. Vox is capable of hypnotizing and mind controlling the entire populace of Pentagram City through various electronics with screens, and even create and project hologram screens to achieve the same effect. Mind control - Vox can use his hypnotism so intensively he can outright control the minds of others, which he used to invade and override Angel Dust's free will and turn him into a mole within the Hotel. However, it doesn't always work, as Valentino states and has shown himself to be immune to it, and other Overlords, Charlie, Vaggie, and Emily, were unaffected when Vox mind controlled the entire population of Pentagram City. Acoustokinesis - He can manipulate the sound of his voice to sound more intimidating. He can also generate different sound effects such as echoing voices and the sound of a winning game machine. Voice mimicry - Vox is able to mimic other voices, like when he perfectly mimicked Charlie's voice on the phone in order to trick Lucifer. His face also gains facial features similar to the person he's mimicking. Claws - Vox has metallic claws that are strong enough to tear through metal. Strength - Vox is strong enough that he is easily able to tear through metal, and capable of holding demons bigger than himself, such as Valentino, with ease. Syrmakinesis - Vox can generate cables and wires from his body and manipulate those around him like tentacles. He can use them to strike with tremendous force, or restrain those caught in them, and can also use them to elevate himself into the air move smoothly through the air with mechanical precision. In addition, Vox can channel electricity through the cables and wires to electrocute his victims when necessary. Gill breathing - When Vox smokes and exhales, smoke comes out of his mouth and his shark gills, meaning he can breathe through his gills as well. It is unknown if this allows him to breathe underwater.
SKILL SET: Deal-making - Like all Overlords, Vox is capable of making deals with others, which can be used in order to collect their souls. Musical talent - Vox has shown to be a talented singer. Piano-playing - While singing Once We Get Up There, he is shown to play the piano. Dancing - Vox can perform amazing dance routines, like handling complicated moves to even being able to hold Valentino, a taller sinner, into a dip. He has also been shown capable of tapdancing in songs such as Bad With Us and VOX POPULI. Charisma and manipulation - The reason why Vox is a successful entrepreneur is that he can use his charm to manipulate others into buying his products even without his hypnosis powers, such as acting as he cares about his customers and making up products on the spot that are not even in production yet. He even uses this to successfully calm down Valentino to prevent further damage. Technology intuition - Being a businessman and head of VoxTek, Vox has great understanding of technology, allowing him to use his electrical powers to their full potential. Bilingualism - Vox can speak English and some Spanish. In the song Bad With Us, he is seen talking to Carmilla Carmine in Spanish. However, he doesn't fully understand the language.

Vox; TV host, news anchor, weather man, overlord, other titles; well, he’s known for a lot of things. He worked very hard to get to the position he’s in now (we all know what he did).
Vox walked into the meeting, his employees quieted down, Velvette just sat in a corner tapping away on her phone, Valentino did... whatever Val does during meetings.
"Gentlemen! take a memo." Vox started as he walked over to the head of the long, rectangular, table to where the screen was. "She needs a talking to. Tomatoes like her must be put in their place."
"Yes yes! We agree!" voices piped up from the group.
"Uh, dont say yes until i finish talking." he stated, casting a sharp glare at the group.
"She thinks she's queen and calls the shots, As she sits on a throne." he slammed his fist down on the table. "She needs to learn she's only skin and that I'm the true king of hell!"
"All hail the king!" the group, minus Velvette and Valentino, said in unison.
"Oh that feels good," he grinned, switching the slide on the screen, "Which brings me back to that dumb blonde. To her demands, I now respond. Some buy her act, but i'm not conned. You better fall in line."
"Tomatoes like her they all whither and die. My powers, though, will never be diminished. So don't bring me to my boiling point. She's just a broad, I own the joint. I'm in control, she's just a face. And then say 'yes'. Cause yes, men, I'm finished!" he said with a flourish.
