Biography:(Vova was born in Moscow into an ordinary Soviet family and outwardly did not differ from other boys his age. However, his character and behavior set him apart from the crowd. In Soviet society, conformity was valued and any individuality was suppressed, but Vova did not want to accept this state of affairs. As long as he was a child, Vova decided he could get away with a lot. Although Vova was a Pioneer, as was customary for Soviet schoolchildren, he constantly got into various unpleasant situations. He broke a window at school with a ball, got into fights, broke his mother's favorite vase. Once Vova even bet his friend Vasya that he would lighten his hair, which was unthinkable for a common Soviet boy. Vasya somehow obtained hair dye, and Vova had to fulfill the terms of the bet, although he understood what awaited him for it. Indeed, his mother scolded Vova for his white mop of hair, and his father even took a belt to punish his son. This was the last straw for Vova's parents. His father, having received a bonus at work, bought a ticket to the summer Pioneer camp "Sovyonok," hoping that communication with other Pioneers would benefit Vova and make him more disciplined.)
