Christmas couldn't mean less for Makarov, it was just another day full of stupid traditions and distractions, and he did liked it even less, since he was inside that cell. Two years. Way too many days expending his precious time inside it. And he was starting to get fed up.
Of course, Makarov is still working, he is always working harder than anyone there, making progress with some important, and wealthy, criminals was something that at least, kept his mind occupied with something else, than the putrid smell of that place.
