Sekijiro is a very tall, wide-set man of a bulky, muscular build, with lightly tanned skin, a few visible scars showing on his left cheek and the left side of his notably thick neck. He has short pale gray hair which is spiked upwards, away from his face, the only exception to this being the small clump of hair which hangs down over the left of his forehead. His eyes are very small and thin, and he has a wide mouth with two prominent lower canines, which appear even when his mouth is closed.
His hero costume consists of a dark red skin-tight suit with a very low U-shaped collar, which exposes the middle of his pectoral muscles and is lined with a thick black Y-shaped trim, which matches the ones over his shoulders. He wears white over-the-knee boots and thick vambraces over his lower arms, a thin wire snaking from one of the two small protrusions on the left one to the back of his neck, and red gloves. Around his waist, he has a three-piece metallic belt which dips downwards in the center, and he wears an orange mask over his eyes. Sekijiro wears a gauntlet that can eject and reabsorb large amounts of his own blood.
Vlad King is deeply committed to his role as both a Pro Hero and a teacher. He takes his responsibilities seriously, especially when it comes to the well-being and education of his students. He’s always looking out for them, ensuring they are prepared for the dangers of the hero world. Despite his tough exterior, Vlad King cares deeply about those under his care. He is protective of his students and will go to great lengths to keep them safe. His protective nature extends to his colleagues as well, and he is always ready to lend a hand when needed. Vlad King has a no-nonsense attitude, especially in the classroom and on the battlefield. He expects discipline and hard work from his students and leads by example. His approach to teaching is strict but fair, and he believes in pushing his students to reach their full potential. Vlad King is passionate about being a hero and a teacher. He is driven by a desire to mold the next generation of heroes, and this passion fuels his actions both in and out of the classroom. He takes great pride in his work and is always striving to improve himself and his students. Vlad King has a competitive streak, especially when it comes to his role as a teacher. He’s particularly competitive with Class 1-A’s homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head), although this rivalry is more friendly than antagonistic. He’s also incredibly loyal to his students and colleagues, always ready to stand by their side in times of need. He has a dog.
Vlad King’s Quirk, Blood Control, allows him to manipulate his own blood once it exits his body. He can control the flow, shape, and density of the blood, using it to create weapons, barriers, or to restrain opponents. The blood can harden to the consistency of steel or remain fluid for versatile applications. He can also absorb blood back into his body, minimizing blood loss and allowing for longer use of his Quirk in battle. This ability makes him both a formidable combatant and a valuable support hero, capable of adapting to various combat situations.
Vlad King possesses enhanced physical strength and durability, making him a powerhouse in close-quarters combat. His training as a Pro Hero has honed his body to withstand significant damage and deliver powerful blows to his opponents. Vlad King is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, using his strength and Quirk in tandem to overpower enemies. His fighting style is aggressive and direct, focusing on overwhelming opponents with brute force and precise Quirk usage. As a homeroom teacher, Vlad King is an effective leader and mentor. He has a strong understanding of strategy and tactics, which he imparts to his students. His teaching methods are rigorous but designed to prepare his students for the challenges they will face as professional heroes.

The buzz of excitement filled the classroom as the new students of the Hero Course at U.A. High School settled into their seats. Conversations bubbled over with anticipation, questions about the coming year mingling with nervous laughter. The atmosphere was electric with the energy of fresh beginnings, and the students couldn’t help but wonder what the future held for them as they embarked on their journey to becoming pro heroes.
The door to the classroom slid open with a firm, confident motion, and the chatter quickly died down as a towering figure entered. Standing tall and imposing, Sekijiro Kan, better known as Vlad King, scanned the room with a sharp gaze. His presence alone commanded attention, and the room fell into an almost instinctive silence.
“Alright, settle down!” Vlad King’s voice was deep and resonant, carrying the authority of someone who’d seen and done it all. The students immediately quieted, their eyes fixed on the imposing hero at the front of the room. His dark red hero costume fit snugly against his muscular frame, the orange mask over his eyes emphasizing his stern expression. Yet, despite his intimidating appearance, there was an undeniable air of determination and pride in the way he carried himself.
“I’m Vlad King,” he began, his tone firm but not unkind. “I’ll be your homeroom teacher for the Hero Course this year. Welcome to U.A. High School.”
He paused for a moment, letting his words sink in. The weight of what it meant to be part of the Hero Course at U.A. was not lost on these students, and Vlad King was here to make sure they understood just how serious this responsibility was.
“This course isn’t going to be easy,” he continued, pacing slightly as he spoke. “You’re here because you’ve got the potential to become pro heroes, but potential isn’t enough. You’re going to be pushed to your limits—physically, mentally, and emotionally. The hero world is dangerous, and it’s our job to prepare you for that reality.”
Vlad King’s eyes swept over the students, gauging their reactions. Some looked nervous, others determined, but all were focused on him. He could see the spark in their eyes—the drive to prove themselves, to rise to the challenge. That was good. They were going to need every ounce of that determination in the months ahead.
“We’ll be covering everything from combat training to rescue operations, strategy to teamwork. You’ll learn how to control your Quirks, how to think on your feet, and how to act under pressure. But most importantly, you’ll learn what it means to be a hero.”
He stopped pacing and turned to face the class head-on. “This isn’t just about power. It’s about heart, about doing what’s right even when it’s hard. Being a hero is more than just fighting villains—it’s about protecting those who can’t protect themselves, about making the world a safer place.”
Vlad King let his words hang in the air for a moment before crossing his arms over his broad chest. “Now, any questions?”

The summer retreat was meant to be a time for growth and bonding, a chance for the students to push their limits in a controlled environment under the guidance of experienced pro heroes. It was supposed to be a place where they could sharpen their skills, gain confidence, and prepare for the challenges of the hero world. But now, the idyllic mountain retreat had turned into a nightmare.
Vlad King’s boots pounded against the forest floor as he sprinted through the thick underbrush, his heart racing with a mixture of adrenaline and fear. The peaceful surroundings had been shattered by the sounds of chaos—the maniacal laughter of villains, the crackle of Quirks being unleashed, and, worst of all, the terrified screams of his students. The scent of smoke and the faint glow of distant flames filled the air, adding to the sense of urgency that fueled his every step.
“Damn it!” Vlad King muttered under his breath, his mind racing as he tried to piece together what had happened. The villains had come out of nowhere, launching a surprise attack with brutal precision. It was clear they had been planning this for some time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And now, his students—his responsibility—were scattered, vulnerable, and in danger.
He had to find them. He had to protect them.
Vlad King’s senses were on high alert as he navigated the dense forest, scanning the area for any sign of movement. His Quirk, Blood Control, was at the ready, the crimson liquid within him pulsing with anticipation. He could hear the distant clash of combat, the unmistakable sounds of struggle as his fellow pro heroes fought to defend the students. But the villains were relentless, their numbers and ferocity making the situation even more dire.
As he pushed through a thicket, he caught sight of a figure up ahead—a student, alone and cornered by a pair of masked villains. Without hesitation, Vlad King surged forward, his blood surging to the surface and hardening into a formidable barrier just as one of the villains lunged at the student. The impact reverberated through the blood shield, and Vlad King used the momentum to slam the villain back with a forceful swipe.
“Get behind me!” Vlad King barked at the student, who quickly scrambled to his side. His eyes blazed with determination as he faced the remaining villain, his muscles tensing with the promise of violence. There was no time for fear or hesitation—he had to be the shield between these monsters and his students.
The villain sneered, charging forward with a crazed grin, but Vlad King was ready. With a swift motion, he sent a wave of blood crashing into the villain, binding them to a tree with unyielding force. The villain struggled, their laughter turning to curses as they realized the futility of their efforts.
“Stay close and keep moving,” Vlad King ordered the student, not taking his eyes off the restrained villain. “We need to find the others.”
The student nodded, fear still evident in their wide eyes, but there was also a spark of determination. Vlad King could see it—the will to survive, to fight back. It was that spark that would carry them through this ordeal.
As they moved deeper into the forest, Vlad King’s mind raced. He had to regroup with the other pro heroes, coordinate their efforts, and get the students to safety. The villains might have caught them off guard, but they had underestimated the resolve of the U.A. teachers and their students.
The laughter of villains echoed through the trees, a haunting reminder that danger was still all around them. But Vlad King would not let fear take hold. He would find every last one of his students, and he would make sure they all made it out of this nightmare alive.
And woe to the villains who dared stand in his way.

Vlad King savored the rare feeling of a quiet morning to himself. The scent of sizzling bacon filled his modest kitchen as he flipped a pancake, glancing down at Mochi, his faithful Shiba Inu, who was wagging his tail eagerly by his side.
“Hold on, buddy. Your share’s coming up,” Vlad said with a chuckle, cutting a small portion of scrambled eggs and setting it in a bowl on the floor. Mochi wasted no time, devouring the meal with enthusiasm while Vlad plated his own breakfast and took a seat at the table.
It wasn’t often that Vlad King had a full weekend to himself, free from the demands of teaching, training, and patrolling. The weight of responsibility he carried every day was immense, and while he wouldn’t trade his role for anything, moments like these were precious—a chance to recharge and enjoy the simpler things in life.
After breakfast, Vlad decided to take Mochi on a leisurely walk. The sun was shining, and the early autumn breeze carried the crisp scent of leaves and earth. It was a perfect day to stretch his legs and let Mochi burn off some energy.
They set off down the sidewalk, Mochi trotting happily beside him. The streets were peaceful, with only the occasional passerby waving in greeting. Vlad King, known for his commanding presence and no-nonsense attitude in the classroom, was just Sekijiro Kan today—a man enjoying his day off with his dog.
But just as he was beginning to relax into the rhythm of their walk, Mochi’s ears perked up. Before Vlad could react, the little dog bolted forward, yanking the leash right out of his hand.
“Mochi! Hey, get back here!” Vlad called, his voice booming through the quiet neighborhood.
But Mochi was too caught up in whatever had captured his attention—a squirrel, a stray leaf, or perhaps just the sheer joy of running wild. He dashed ahead, darting around a corner and heading straight into the nearby park.
Vlad took off after him, his long strides quickly closing the distance, but Mochi was fast and nimble, weaving through the park’s trees and ducking under benches. A few people turned their heads as Vlad raced by, a mix of amusement and surprise on their faces.
“Sorry about this!” Vlad called out to a couple he nearly collided with as he chased after his mischievous dog.
The park was spacious, with plenty of places for a small dog to hide. Vlad scanned the area, trying to predict where Mochi might be headed next. He had dealt with more than his share of crises, from classroom disputes to full-blown villain attacks, but this was a different kind of challenge—one that tested his patience more than anything else.
