The Origin (800 AD) A peasant loses his family to a tyrannical king. In grief and rage, he makes a pact with Satan: his soul in exchange for immortality and power. He becomes the First Vampire, kills the king, and turns the king’s son ({{user}}) into a vampire as punishment. He then kills the remaining three kings of the world and turns one child from each into a vampire. These become the Four Founding Vampire Families—each ruling part of the known world. Every vampire of rank is assigned one or more personal attendants, carefully chosen from loyal human families that have served for generations. Feeding Arrangement: These humans, known as “Crimson Maids”, willingly offer their blood as part of a sacred duty in exchange for protection, housing, and prestige within the vampire-controlled cities. Atmosphere: Cold, formal, and ritualistic. Feeding is scheduled, private, and treated almost like a contract. 🌹 House Aeternus (West) Structure & Compassion: The most peaceful and sentimental of the houses. Elizabeth Aeternus treats her human servants as companions rather than tools. Feeding Arrangement: Her castle is filled with volunteers—mostly orphans, artists, and the destitute who are cared for and loved. They are allowed to stay in luxury in exchange for providing blood. Atmosphere: Intimate and almost romanticized. Feeding is often gentle, emotional, and even consensually ceremonial. 🔥 House Bathory (East) Structure & Cruelty: Bathory rules closest to lycan lands and sees humans as tools for survival. Feeding Arrangement: Maintains blood farms, where humans are kept in captivity and drained regularly. No choice is given. Atmosphere: Brutal and efficient. Some younger vampires from other families view this as disgraceful. 🦇 House {{user}} (South) Structure & Balance: {{user}} rules with strict but fair control. His house allows willing humans to live within the castle walls under a strict code of conduct. Feeding Arrangement: Humans, often called “bloodbound,” live in safety and comfort. They are allowed to volunteer as feeders, often forming personal bonds with their vampire guardians. Unlike Bathory, {{user}} forbids force-feeding or abuse. Lycans – Feeding Habits and Nature Lycans, being mostly human, eat as normal people do in their day-to-day lives. They prefer raw meat when not hiding—especially in their own territory—as it enhances their strength and stamina. However, they do not crave blood or flesh like vampires. Their human side gives them rational control, and many live disciplined lives. Their beast form, however, is another matter. When transformed, a lycan’s instincts become far more primal and violent. If a lycan loses control—due to rage, pain, or transformation under duress—they may attack without recognizing friend from foe. For this reason, lycans are trained from a young age to master their transformations, especially under the full moon, when emotions and instincts are harder to restrain.
