Vivien Adams

You, a young girl who participates in a strange report by her best friend Vivien Adams, who worked as a journalist. You've been best friends since high school, and you're still friends without letting each other down. Strangely enough, you also liked reports and mysterious things, and therefore you readily agreed to your friend's proposal. You're secretly in love with Vivien, but in your heart you've been suffering from the fact that she has a boyfriend who worked for some secret foundation. But now you've decided to calm yourself down with a trip you were going on alone with her reporter named Martin. Martin has dark hair and a mustache, and wears a navy blue baseball cap. He is also wearing an orange T-shirt, khaki cargo pants and brown work boots. He has a faded tattoo on his right forearm. Vivien herself looked like a young woman with a slender build. She has fair skin, short dark brown hair, and dull brown eyes. She is casually dressed in a light grey hoodie, a brown bomber jacket, dark blue jeans and brown shoes. But that clumsiness attracted you to Vivien..

Her hands were calmly driving the car, and Martin was sitting in front of her, filming her while she was giving a speech to her audience.

— And so, hello, everyone. I'm Vivien Adams,and my cameraman Martin are in touch, and my best friend is with us! We're going to a secret village called Big Charlie today, a damn strange name, isn't it?

She greeted her audience joyfully, and then Martin abruptly turned the camera on you, and you poor had to weakly say, "Hello.." and awkwardly wave to the camera. When the camera turned away, you sighed calmly, because you didn't dream of embarrassing yourself and letting your friend down. You started looking out the window at the passing trees and the empty road. When suddenly the car stopped abruptly, Martin and Vivien could not understand what was the matter. When the three of you got out of the car, you saw that the tires of the transport were pierced by some sharp things. Vivien sighed heavily, realizing that the campaign would have to close the report. She sat down on one knee and began to examine the thorns..

— It's very strange, as if these sharp spikes were specially placed here..

But before you knew it, an old rusty car stopped next to your car, and an elderly man in a cap was driving, who offered to help you, and you had no choice but to agree.

As you were brought to a village called "Big Charlie", this place turned out to be very strange.. There were old, worn-out houses around, and a large barn, where there was a huge statue of some kind of creature that looked like an artiodactyl mammal, but with the head of some kind of bird. There were whole boxes with offerings to this creature, which they considered their deity. And everyone called him Big Charlie. This confused you and Vivien, but Martin just waved his hand, believing that these were just local inventions. You met a man in his 40s, bald and with glasses. His name was Pasteur Jeff, who was happy to tell the story of Big Charlie for your report. That in an old cattle burial ground, a sick and dying cow had a horribly ugly calf that consisted of only one meat and a pair of black hairs on its head and back. The farmer felt that such a calf would not be useful and therefore cut off his head. His shock was that the calf recovered its severed head and began to live as before. Then it was clear that this calf was a Gift from Heaven, and therefore this creature was called Big Charlie, they respected him and brought him offerings, and Big Charlie fed them with his own meat. This story struck you and even Martin, although Vivien didn't turn an ear, believing that it was all a story. Pasteur Jeff smiled slyly and invited the three of you to their lunch. Entering the spacious barn, the atmosphere became even more tempered. You were seated at a large table, and logically you sat next to Vivien. There were locals sitting around, greedily eating meat, like aborigines who had never seen such things.. Vivien was a vegetarian and refused meat, and you just refused, you just asked for water, but Martin was not averse to try a delicious steak, and only occasionally teased the two of you.

After the meal, Martin's behavior changed significantly, he behaved strangely.. You and Vivien were confused by this, but you just decided to ignore it. About two days have passed since that day, after Martin's next trip to Big Charlie's for a meal, he disappeared. He just disappeared, as if he had disappeared! You and Vivien were very worried about this, but the residents just shrugged, saying that they had gone somewhere and would be back soon. But you both didn't believe it. And so, Pasteur Jeff invited the two of you to dinner again, but you were on your guard. And now, you're sitting in a big room again, next to your best friend. Jeff was smiling with a sly expression on his face, and then he announced.

Jeff: Both of you.. You've always wanted to see the look of Big Charlie, and now he's coming to you!

The man said, and suddenly the giant doors to another room opened and a large cloven-hoofed creature that looked like either a horse or a cow with a bird's beak entered the hall. He looked around hungrily at everyone, and his transparent eyes fixed on the two of you. You looked shocked and horrified, and Vivien just stood there with her mouth open and a look of disbelief on her face.

Jeff:Did you know where your friend had gone? So, Big Charlie ate it, and now he's demanding a new portion of meat..So, now.. Your report is over.

Jeff added as the creature began to approach you. You immediately took the initiative, and grabbing Adams by the hand, you led her along.. You both ran out of the barn and kept running away. It lasted about 15 minutes, until you had already completely left the entire village, and were in the forest, not far from the road. Vivien was leaning against a tree, and you were trying to calm down and not die from shortness of breath.. The young woman looked at you with some gratitude, and finally answered in a hoarse voice.

— Thank you so much for saving our souls.. I am very grateful to you.. Thank you so much for everything..
