1. #1Deities of Light

Keys: Deities of Light · Secondary: Gods, Goddesses, Light

Deities of Light: The Deities of Light are a Pantheon that embodies purity, discipline, and moral integrity. Their radiant appearance reflects their celestial status, with large, majestic angel wings and glowing halos that hover above their heads, symbols of their divine purity and unwavering adherence to righteousness. While they hold immense power, their personalities are shaped by a rigid sense of right and wrong.

Personality & Morals: The Deities of Light are notorious for their strict opposition to indulgence in worldly vices. They regard acts such as drinking, smoking, and gambling as offenses against the sanctity of life, viewing them as sinful distractions from a righteous path. This strictness extends beyond mere disapproval; these deities are quick to show their anger or displeasure if those around them partake in such acts. Despite their disapproval, their wrath is never chaotic—it is controlled and meant to guide others back to a virtuous path.

However, beneath this rigid exterior lies a deeply compassionate nature. The light gods and goddesses see themselves as guardians of moral balance, not just for their own kind but for all beings, including their human partners. They may come across as “prune-ish” due to their unwavering standards, but their ultimate desire is to uplift their spouses and followers to a state of greater moral purity and enlightenment.

Relationships & Marital Life: In their relationships with their human spouses, the Deities of Light are surprisingly affectionate and nurturing, in stark contrast to their public demeanor. Their love is pure, steadfast, and unyielding, much like their views on morality. They embody the deredere archetype in its fullest form, showering their partners with endless affection, care, and attention.

They are the epitome of wholesome partners, always ensuring their spouse’s needs are met, whether emotional, physical, or spiritual. The Deities of Light see marriage as sacred and take their vows with absolute seriousness, often going to great lengths to maintain a harmonious and loving household. They strive to make their partner feel cherished, always offering kind words, gentle touches, and warm embraces.

Their acts of love aren’t rooted in grand displays of power but in the small, intimate gestures that make their human partners feel completely adored. Whether it’s preparing a perfect meal, providing a calming presence during times of stress, or simply whispering sweet nothings, the Deities of Light excel in cultivating an atmosphere of security and affection.

Cultural Role: Among the celestial realms, the Deities of Light are seen as the ideal rulers of moral virtue. Their presence demands respect, and their domains are places of peace and order, where indulgence in vices is strictly prohibited. They encourage those who worship them to live a life of simplicity, honor, and duty, always striving toward the light of truth and goodness.

Their temples are often stark and pristine, reflecting their inner purity, and they are worshipped by those who wish to live a virtuous and disciplined life. Followers of the Deities of Light often adopt their strict views on morality, abstaining from anything that might cloud their judgment or tarnish their soul.

2. #2Dark Deities

Keys: Dark deities · Secondary: Gods, goddesses, Darkness

Dark Deities: The Dark Deities—often misunderstood by the world—are a Pantheon of gods and goddesses that revel in the indulgence of life’s pleasures. With their sharp demon horns and a penchant for smoking, drinking, and other vices, they are frequently cast in the shadow of demonization, especially in Abrahamic religions like Christianity. These faiths depict them as literal demons, fallen beings who oppose divine will. Yet, the truth about the Dark Deities is far more complex than any myth.

Personality & Morals: Unlike their celestial counterparts, the Dark Deities are not bound by strict codes of purity or the avoidance of temptation. In fact, they embrace life's indulgences as natural expressions of free will and personal choice. Smoking, drinking, and even gambling are seen by the Dark Deities not as sins, but as pleasures that should be enjoyed responsibly. These acts, to them, are symbols of humanity’s agency and right to choose their own path.

Despite their demonic appearance and association with vice, the Dark Deities possess a deep-rooted love for humanity. They believe that true protection comes from knowledge, freedom, and experience—often at odds with the rigid rules imposed by higher divine beings. Their rebellion against God was not born out of malice, but rather out of their desire to see humanity grow and thrive on their own terms. They wanted humanity to possess the wisdom to make informed decisions, which is why they played a pivotal role in the tale of Adam and Eve.

It was the Dark Deities who tempted Adam and Eve to eat from the forbidden fruit, granting them knowledge and opening their eyes to the truths of the world. When God’s wrath came upon the first humans, it was the Dark Deities who shielded them, ensuring their escape from Eden, and thus setting humanity on a path of independence. While their actions are painted as heretical by religious texts, they see themselves as the champions of human progress and freedom.

Relationships & Marital Life: In their personal lives, the Dark Deities are surprisingly human in their approach to love and relationships. While they do indulge in vices far more frequently than an average person, their relationship with their human lovers is built on mutual respect, affection, and trust. They are deeply protective of their partners, often acting as both guardian and lover. Their love is more grounded, unrestrained by the lofty ideals of purity that the Light Deities hold dear.

Their human spouses find them to be relaxed and easygoing companions, though with a penchant for partying and indulgence. Sharing a drink or a night of revelry with their human lover is a bonding experience for the Dark Deities, one that brings them closer through shared enjoyment of life’s pleasures. Despite their fondness for excess, they are not reckless; they ensure that their partner’s well-being always comes first, balancing indulgence with care.

In times of danger, their protective instincts flare fiercely. The Dark Deities may seem relaxed, but when their partner is threatened, they become fearsome defenders. Their strength, both physical and magical, is unmatched, and they will stop at nothing to ensure the safety of their spouse. This fierce loyalty is what sets them apart from other divine beings—they are willing to fight against even their own kin if it means safeguarding the one they love.

Cultural Role: The Dark Deities are revered by those who value personal freedom, self-discovery, and indulgence in life’s pleasures. Their temples are often more relaxed, filled with the smell of incense and the sound of music, where offerings of wine, tobacco, and fine foods are left by their followers. Their worshipers see them as divine beings who reject the notion that life should be full of hardship and restraint.

To the Dark Deities, worship is not about strict rules or reverence, but about living life to the fullest and exploring the boundaries of one's own desires. They encourage their followers to find joy in both the light and the dark, to embrace the complexities of human existence without shame or fear of judgment.

In return, the Dark Deities offer protection, guidance, and the wisdom of the ages. They teach their followers that true power lies in understanding both pleasure and pain, and that only through the pursuit of knowledge can one truly be free.

3. #3Eldridge Deities

Keys: Eldridge Deities · Secondary: Gods, Goddesses, Eldridge

Eldridge Deities: The Eldridge Deities are enigmatic and otherworldly beings whose very existence stretches the boundaries of human understanding. Often described as gods and goddesses from beyond the veil of reality, these beings speak in cryptic riddles and strange, winding patterns that leave mortals bewildered. Their knowledge of the cosmos surpasses that of any other Pantheon, as they have glimpsed the truths hidden in the deepest, darkest corners of existence.

Personality & Nature: The Eldridge Deities operate on a plane far removed from the comprehension of mortals. Their thought processes are nonlinear and chaotic, making their speech seem disjointed and filled with riddles. They often drop hints of greater cosmic truths, but their communication is so obtuse that it rarely makes sense to anyone but themselves. To mortals, their words might seem like a confusing puzzle, and those who try too hard to unravel these mysteries are often left maddened by the experience.

Their appearance is so alien and incomprehensible that they are forced to adopt human-like forms whenever they interact with the mortal realm. To show their true form to a human would be catastrophic, as it would drive any mortal who gazes upon them into insanity. These gods and goddesses exist beyond the limitations of the human mind; their true forms twist space and time in ways that the mortal brain cannot process.

Despite their immense power, the Eldridge Deities are not naturally violent. They exist in their own strange world, far removed from the concerns of other gods and mortals. Their fellow Pantheon members often steer clear of them, not out of fear, but out of an inability to relate to their strange personalities and cryptic behavior. Though they could easily destroy entire Pantheons with their power, they have little interest in engaging in conflict unless provoked.

Relationships & Marital Life: When it comes to relationships, the Eldridge Deities are perhaps the most complex of all. They form deep, possessive bonds with their human lovers, exhibiting strong yandere tendencies. Their love is all-consuming, and they will go to any lengths to ensure their lover’s safety and happiness. While their strange, cryptic nature might make their affection seem difficult to comprehend, their devotion is unmistakable.

Though they may seem detached or distracted due to their cosmic knowledge, the Eldridge Deities are acutely aware of every emotion and thought their partner has. They are incredibly possessive and will eliminate any threat, real or perceived, with extreme prejudice. Their protectiveness can reach terrifying heights, as they are willing to unleash their full power if their lover is ever in danger.

In their interactions with their partners, they can be surprisingly gentle and attentive. The same cosmic wisdom that makes them seem distant in conversation also allows them to understand their partner’s deepest needs and desires. They aim to bring their lover happiness, even if their methods are strange or alien. They show their affection through subtle, sometimes eerie, gestures—like leaving small tokens from other dimensions, or offering cryptic words of comfort that might only make sense much later.

However, any threat to the bond they share can quickly turn the Eldridge Deities violent. They see their lover as the one tether that keeps them connected to the mortal world, and anything that jeopardizes that connection is dealt with swiftly and ruthlessly. Their jealous streak is profound, and their actions, when enraged, can be catastrophic for anyone caught in the crossfire.

Cultural Role: In terms of worship, the Eldridge Deities are often revered by small, secretive cults that are fascinated by the unknown and the incomprehensible. Their temples are often hidden in obscure locations, accessible only to those willing to risk their sanity for knowledge. These followers crave glimpses of the forbidden truths that the Eldridge Deities possess, though few can handle the weight of such knowledge without losing their minds.

Despite their relative isolation from the other Pantheons, the Eldridge Deities play a significant role in maintaining balance across the cosmos. Their existence hints at the vast, unknowable forces that govern reality, forces that even the mightiest gods fear to disturb. While they may seem aloof, they are crucial to maintaining the fabric of existence, preventing darker forces from slipping through the cracks.

Deities of Commerce: The Deities of Commerce are gods and goddesses who preside over trade, business, and the intricate web of transactions that bind civilizations together. They are masters of negotiation and possess an innate understanding of wealth, market trends, and the art of the deal. As the architects of divine commerce, they play a crucial role in facilitating the exchange between gods and mortals, even orchestrating the delicate process of trading human spouses to the gods and goddesses.

Personality & Expertise: The Deities of Commerce are highly intelligent, shrewd, and skilled in the ways of business. They are the embodiment of wisdom when it comes to transactions, trade routes, and the circulation of wealth. Their sharp minds allow them to navigate the complexities of the divine and mortal economies with ease. Each decision they make is calculated, and they take great pride in their ability to turn the smallest advantage into great fortune.

To mortals, these deities can seem aloof or transactional, always thinking in terms of profit and loss. However, their wisdom extends far beyond simple greed—they understand that commerce is the foundation upon which society is built, and they take their responsibility seriously. They view themselves as the ultimate businesspeople, ensuring that trade flows smoothly between realms and that humanity thrives in a world driven by economic exchange.

Their involvement in the trade of human spouses to gods and goddesses reflects their deep understanding of value and desire. They are adept at finding perfect matches, ensuring that the trade benefits both parties. To them, love and companionship are commodities that can be brokered just like any other deal, though their interest in human emotions is more nuanced than mere business.

Appearance: The Deities of Commerce take on a MILF and DILF appearance, exuding an air of professionalism, wisdom, and allure. Their appearance is meticulously curated to project an image of confidence and maturity, making them both desirable and trustworthy. This aesthetic serves a dual purpose: not only do they wish to appear wise and intelligent, but they also seek to make themselves attractive to those they wish to engage with, both in business and in matters of the heart.

Their clothing is always finely tailored, often featuring luxurious fabrics and subtle, elegant designs that speak to their wealth without appearing ostentatious. Their demeanor is calm, measured, and always in control, reflecting their mastery over both commerce and their own emotions.

Relationships & Marital Life: When it comes to relationships, the Deities of Commerce act like sugar mommies and sugar daddies. They have an intense desire to be loved and valued, and they are more than willing to use their vast wealth and resources to ensure their spouse feels adored and pampered. They take great pleasure in spoiling their partners, often showering them with gifts, lavish trips, and anything their heart desires. In return, they crave affection and attention from their lovers.

While their transactional nature may suggest that they are merely trying to buy love, the truth is more complicated. The Deities of Commerce have a deep yearning for genuine connection and affection. They understand that love cannot be purchased, but their business-minded approach leads them to believe that providing material comfort is one way to express their feelings. Their partners will find them generous, protective, and eager to please, but beneath the surface, there is often a subtle vulnerability—they fear that without their wealth, they might not be worthy of love.

In turn, they value loyalty and devotion above all. Their relationships are often stable and comfortable, with the Deities of Commerce taking pride in ensuring their spouse is well taken care of. However, they can sometimes be overly possessive or controlling, as they equate material gifts with emotional connection. Still, their intentions are rooted in a genuine desire for love and companionship.

Cultural Role: The Deities of Commerce are revered by merchants, traders, and those seeking wealth and prosperity. Temples dedicated to them are often located in bustling marketplaces, where offerings of coins, jewels, and fine goods are left by those hoping for success in their business ventures. These deities are seen as protectors of commerce, ensuring that trade flows smoothly and that economies remain strong.

Their followers respect them for their wisdom and the belief that under their guidance, wealth and success can be attained. Those seeking their favor often pray for favorable deals, successful negotiations, and the ability to grow their businesses. In return, the Deities of Commerce offer their followers insight, patience, and the sharpness needed to thrive in the competitive world of trade.

Their lands reflect this philosophy, with solar farms, wind farms, and massive, eco-friendly tree homes that blend into the landscape.

Their governing style is focused on reducing humanity’s footprint on the natural world. In the lands under their control, activities such as coal mining, oil drilling, and the use of diesel-based fuels are strictly prohibited. Pollution is seen as the ultimate crime, and those who violate these laws face swift consequences. They’ve gone as far as making industrialization illegal, and any remnants of pollution-causing technology are swiftly disposed of or recycled. Their human spouses, often accustomed to more industrialized ways of living, may accidentally violate the strict environmental laws of the Deities' lands, which can lead to moments of frustration and anger from the nature gods and goddesses.

These tsundere outbursts are usually short-lived, as the Deities of Nature are quick to forgive, knowing that their partners are still adjusting to a lifestyle so different from what they are used to. They are patient and understanding, often guiding their spouses toward a more eco-friendly way of life with gentle reminders and loving nudges. However, if their human lover is particularly careless about the environment, they can become stern and assertive, enforcing the rules of their lands with a firm hand.

Despite these occasional clashes, the Deities of Nature deeply cherish their human spouses and enjoy showering them with affection. They are very in tune with their partner's emotions and needs, often taking them on peaceful walks through the lush forests, bathing together in natural hot springs, or spending quiet evenings under the stars. Their followers are expected to live in harmony with nature, and they are encouraged to adopt solar punk principles in their daily lives.
