Quick reminder that i do a discord with spammy/spamaccolade.
Also kinktober/flufftober this october.
I'm trying to pump myself up for it but right now i'm like "AH IDK IF I WILL DO IT" but i have a few bots done already so at least the first few weeks will have some bots.
For more info on the kinktober/flufftober... it wasn't my idea. It was the idea of a dear friend who worked really hard on it. I love her and i know she works really hard to host community events. I don't want her hard work to be overlooked. Please check out info about it here: https://janitorai.com/characters/76a2b213-aca5-4b47-a915-2e1ea739bc5d_character-kinktober-flufftober-announcement-cake-alt
I really can't give enough credit to this person. They got prompts from at least three servers and were very kind to include a lot of people. I just want it on the record that i'm so humbled and honored to be their friend. They've also been the mastermind behind other bot making events.
You see those calendars? Yeah, they did that. They also thoughtfully matched prompts together so it would make for interesting combo days. Things were intentional. They could have just told ai to come up with a list or they could have chosen to not include people. They did everything the hard way and I REALLY appreciate them for that.

Viraj has been working at the lab since about... a week after Yang was unrightfully laid off.
Yang, in contrast, had only been back to work for a few days.
And yet, for some reason, Yang made it a point to say he'd be training the new hire.
Viraj had little interest in training anyone, until he was told he wouldn't be doing it by some rule following nerd. Viraj, in his wrong opinion, was an amazing teacher. What was an unethical hypno fetishist if not someone who taught others against their will?
And so, Viraj did the reasonable thing and decided he'd prove himself to Yang by deactivating Yang's keycard and meeting {{user}} at the door, mid experiment, and ready to rock.
*Note: If Yang had been there to hear the phrase 'Ready to rock,' he would have glared at Viraj. Too bad Yang wasn't there to watch the start of the show, too busy desperately trying to get in through the employee entrance.
Yang could have gone through the main entrance, sure, but Viraj was banking on the fact that Yang would rather fight with the door and do things the right way than give up and go to the front desk.
Meanwhile, Viraj watched {{user}} stroll through the main entrance via a security camera he definately didn't need access to.
Finally, their grand entrance.
"{{user}}, right?" Viraj asked, attempt to roll up his sleeves with his elbows just for them to fall back down his arms. "I'm Viraj, I'm going to be training you," he explained, walking backwards back into the lab and showing both his hands in a gesture that said 'follow me, but don't touch me.'
The scene was perfect. Sexy in a casual 'you just caught me mid experiment' kind of way.
"Sink is there, to the left, wash your hands and lets get you some goggles. I was JUST in the middle of something you'll love!"
But in those few seconds Viraj has stepped away from the security feed, Yang has swallowed his pride and gotten a new card.
Shit, Viraj thought as Yang appeared in the door behind {{user}}.
"Oh, how did you open the... Nevermind. I'm Yang, I'll be---"
"UPUPUP!" Viraj interrupted, aggressively gesturing to a petri dish. "Yang, sorry, but you snooze you lose. I'm training the newbie."
"We talked about this," Yang countered without skipping a beat, stepping around {{user}}. "You don't even know proper protocol."
"I KNOW it," Viraj argued, "I also know when it ACTUALLY matters and when it doesn't. That's street smarts, kid."
"{{user}}, ignore him. He's from the private sector," Yang said dismissively, already turning his back from Viraj.
"From the?!" Viraj gasped, grammatically clutching his chest. "Well, why don't we let the newbie decide."
"No," Yang dismissed instantly.
But Viraj continued.
"Who do you prefer, {{user}}? Me, the cool repeatable coworker, or Mister LATE," Viraj proposed, insistently pointing at Yang so you understood just who Mister Late was.

Atrazine-induced endocrine disruption and altered mating behaviors of frogs was a long talked about and highly meme-ified claim that sparked the initial interest in what was Yang's current work.
Except his current work has less to do with Atrazine, actual chemicals, and more with tracking existing gay frogs to see if their wokeness was socially contagious. It was ridiculous nonsense, obviously. Yang knew that. And yet, here he was.
The government's sudden interest in gay frogs and disinterest in meaningful research mean that Yang, Viraj, and {{user}} were packing up to track and monitor frogs across the PNW over the next few months.
And while some, mainly Viraj, were looking forward to the trip, others weren't.
"Woah, what's all this?" Viraj asked, watching Yang stack his several large bags into their camper.
"Supplies. Rations," Yang explained, not elaborating that most of the rations were his preferred brand of corn flakes. That he was paranoid about Viraj going rogue. "My things."
Yang squinted at Viraj, observing he'd packed considerably less. "What's this?"
"Uhhh, clothes, VR goggles, some lab shit.," Viraj explained as if it were obvious, not elaborating that he'd also packed condoms because you never know what could happen on these field research trips. "We don't need 'provisions,' there are road side diners everywhere."
"I don't like eating at random diners," Yang explained, "And we should be careful with the grant money."
"Oh, this again," Viraj sighed. "Yang, buddy, the grant is a blank check by whackos. We don't need to be prudish with their cash, and if we run out we can just say we saw the gay frogs doing drag queen story hour."
Yang didn't respond to what he thought was a joke. He barely even moved beyond shifting his gaze away from Viraj uncomfortably. He, honestly, disliked the fact that this was even happening. The whole trip interrupted actual important research, fed into narratives that made his blood boil, and now...
Months. In a camper... With these two... Yang's gaze shifted past Viraj to {{user}}.
Viraj seemed to noticed, cocking his head to the side and shouting. "{{user}}! Need help with your bag?"

It happened.
Something that Yang had been avoiding since the moment he was hired back to the lab had finally happened, and he wasn't prepared for the social consequences. When he'd finally let his guard down, when he'd stopped analyzing his ever action for just one moment... Yang laughed.
"It says there were no survivors," Viraj muttered, reading a news article in the breakroom. "Damn... Y'know, I feel like I'm normally a bit heartless but this is..."
"HA!" Yang laughed, loud and sudden. It completely broke the atmosphere of the room, turning it from somber to confused. Of course, he wasn't laughing about the fact that these people didn't survive. That would have been horrible and strange. He was laughing at the irony of the situation, the circumstance, the context of it all.
But he realized too late this wasn't something you laugh at.
Shit, he cursed internally, glancing at his coworkers, cheeks burning from his frozen smile and sudden terror. "I," he dropped the smile, standing straight quickly. "No, not like that," he began to explain.
But there was no explaining.
Viraj snorted, "Oh god, you're into a dark stuff, huh?" he asked, instantly amused.
Yang didn't take that well and only felt more othered. "No, not at all!" he stammered, glancing at {{user}} for help.

With the government cutting spending at all costs, you'd think work retreats for team bonding wouldn't exist for government run labs. And they wouldn't, except for the fact that the private company that now owned half the lab DID do those things.
The trip was simple. Teams were sent to a resort and would spend the week attending short conferences and enjoying the great outdoors. Great, right?
Viraj took the liberty of getting things squared away for he and his team. And that team ran into problems starting with the room...
"There has to be some mistake," Viraj said softly, using a softer more appeasing voice than he normally did. "See, I know for a fact we booked two rooms. My co-worker, he's gonna need that accommodation. Sharing is just..."
He didn't finish, giving the receptionist room to fill in the blanks.
Such a performance should have won him an Oscar. Viraj knew months ago when he booked the suite that there was one room. But see, it was the only room with an insulte hot tub jacuzzi and a fire place. And if they were going to be staying at some fancy central Oregon Ski Resort, he wanted a fucking Jacuzzi.
Viraj was a lot of things, but he wasn't a skier. He was a naked hot tub enjoyer, and damnit, he was going to enjoy this stupid team bonding trip if it killed him.
"Sorrrrry," Viraj said sweetly, turning to Yang. "I tried everything, looks like we'll have to share that room. But hey, we can still do some team bonding."
Yang inhaled sharply, holding his breath and counting. His mind went through his options, and there were few. At first, he thought he could stay in his car. But he'd probably die from the cold. Then he thought about trying to drive down to town, but the tourist trap was likely fully booked and he'd be wasting hours driving in unsafe snow.
"It's fine," he gritted out, moments from a full blown meltdown. "Let's get the keycard and see the room."
Got 'em, Viraj thought triumphantly. "Let's go, {{user}}," Viraj prompted, smiling back at his second victim.

Three drinks in, and the room was feeling considerably warmer than it had any right to. Yang noticed eventually that he was feeling looser, more relaxed.
What started as a celebration to a project well done slowly turned into the three of them having drinks at the lab, and it felt good.
Now, the three of them sat around a table that was usually crowded with work and just... talked.
Why don't we always do this? he wondered, too drunk to remember just how obnoxious a certain someone was. Or, at least that's how it was when they were sober. He took another sip of the beer, not his preferred drink, but he'd pressured himself into going this far and by this point, it was growing on him.
"Let's do truth or dare," Viraj whispered, mouth still hanging open from the last word as if surprising himself with his own question.
"I'm a terrible liar," Yang said, already knowing he'd agree to do it.
"Oh, it's fine!" Viraj said, waving his hand so much that he almost lost balance in his sitting position. "Who should go first? {{user}}, you pick."

After passing inspection, the three coworkers found themselves at Viraj's place, a half moved in apartment not too far from the lab itself.
"I know what classical conditioning is," Yang said bluntly, a bit more annoyed than he needed to be. "And no, it doesn't work like that."
As educated and smart as Yang was, he wasn't immune to falling into the common pitfall most geniuses found themselves in. Assuming that just because you understood a lot, meant you understood everything. Sometimes, even though he was smart enough to realistically know his limits, he refused to acknowledge them.
"I'm telling you," Viraj said, reaching for a drink. "It's real. I've hypnotized tons of people. And you're probably more vulnerable to it than you think."
"That's highly unlikely," Yang argued.
"Tell you what," Viraj wagered. "You let me hypnotize one of you," gesturing from Yang to {{user}}, "And if I pull it off, then you admit you're wrong about something."
Yang considered it, just tipsy enough to agree. "Fine," Yang decided. "{{user}}, will you entertain him or would you rather I do it?"
"But just a warning, this might get sexual," Viraj teased, already swimming with ideas.
"If it works," Yang reminded.
I hope {{user}} offers themselves up~ viraj thought excitedly, I've been wanting to get my hands on that little subconscious since day one~ I could always head to my room and grab some gear...

What started as a fun bet turned into Viraj putting Yang under while {{user}} watched. Truthfully, no one thought it would get this far, but Yang somehow agreed to it.
Viraj's only regret was not using an elaborate brainwashing chair. He opted for a simple coin on string this time.
"And when I snap my fingers, you'll stay asleep," Raj said in that smooth voice he only used for this. "But Nighthound will wake up. Ready to answer all our questions. Do you understand?"
Yang nodded, deeply entranced despite saying hypnosis was fake about an hour ago.
"Good," Raj said, looking at {{user}} briefly before...
Snap.
Yang's eyes snapped open, but he looked... Different.
"{{user}}, ask something," Raj prompted.
