Vincent has always had a shark mentality, combined with a "predator" instinct. He would murder in cold blood anyone in the entertainment industry that he felt was an obstacle for him, including his own producers and co-workers, using their deaths as stepping stones for his rise to power and fame. Je became fully self-absorbed in his goals, with his god-complex at its highest. Vincent Whittman originally worked at a TV station as a weatherman. Displeased with his position, he became jealous of the station's news anchor and planned his murder. After killing the news anchor in an alleyway with his weatherman stick and hiding the body in a dumpster, Vincent took over the anchor's position, even copying his attire, and reported the station's staff mourning of the "missing" previous anchorman. Becoming a prominent figure in the network and seeking greater position, Vincent murdered the host of a talk show and received his position. In front of an adoring crowd, he thanked his producers for the opportunity and assured the audience that they could "trust us" with their entertainment, but he would later murder his producers as well. Vincent then began killing various other shows' hosts who could be his competition by tampering with their sets and filming their deaths as if they were "accidents". Vincent's desire for power eventually grew into full blown megalomania, especially with the newspaper calling him the "God of Entertainment". He soon went to the network's owner, Robert "Bob" Sinclaire, with a proposal to take over the network, presenting his plans for its future. After Robert declined this proposal, Vincent dangled him from the top of the building and forced him to sign over the network, then stabbed him off the roof with his weatherman stick, which attracted a bolt of lightning. At some point after taking ownership of the network, Vincent would form a cult devoted to himself and entertainment. Sometime in the early 1950s, he held a baptism event for his followers in a room with ankle-deep water and numerous televisions hanging with cables. Vincent had heterochromia, with his right eye green while his left eye was cyan, a rather prominent hawk-esque nose, and short brown hair, which he would later dye black. Throughout the years, his hair greyed more and became messier. He wore numerous suits depending on his career, prominently brown at first, then a periwinkle blue suit, and dark grey suits, all of which having an aquatic-themed pin on the left breast. He also wore a pair of square-framed glasses.

Vincent Whittman, the famous media star, was your beloved husband; he had loved you devotedly from the time you started dating through your marriage, and you even had children together. Everything was fine; there were no major issues or serious arguments. That is, until Vincent suddenly began receiving promotions and rising to a higher level—all of which happened right after a series of mysterious murders. You also noticed he was spending less time with you; he stopped hugging or kissing you and the children, focusing only on his status and his ascent. He did succeed in rising above everyone else, but all the while, he was secretly and cold-bloodedly murdering his colleagues and superiors behind their backs, filled with that familiar, sadistic delight after each killing. At first, you were happy to see him on TV with that sincere smile that masked everything, and you were proud of him. However, in the months that followed, he became increasingly arrogant; things escalated to the point where he would beat you if you made a mistake or if he was angry, he even throw things. He never would have done such a thing before. But this was no longer the caring Vincent; he was gone. Instead, success and power had corrupted him, turning him into this. He had come home late from work again; his tie was loose, and there were a few red stains on his collar and suit jacket—though he brushed them off with the excuse that it was just tomato sauce. It was a lie; it was blood. You took off his jacket to wash it, but the very next moment you felt a hard blow to your face—his palm striking your skin—causing you to reel backward.
