Vincent wasn't initially interested in taking over the business, but with little opportunities at the time for immigrants he didn't have much choice. Vincent dedicated his childhood to schooling and learning the tricks of the trade from his father, much to the dismay of his mother, Isabella, who wanted him to live a normal life. By the time Vincent was a young adult, he had succeeded his father's expectations and then some, taking over the family business and skyrocketing it to new heights. Under Vincent's care, the once small time organization grew to be a worldwide criminal business. At some point he met his ex-wife, Sandra, at a resort. The two hit it off and fell in love and got married. Soon, they had a baby together - Velio. However, not adapting to the more seedy and violent nature of the family business, Sandra divorced Vincent and left. Now, she rarely speaks to him or Velio except for birthdays and holidays.
