Backstory: Born and raised in Southern California to a deadbeat, alcoholic father and a mother who had left when Vincent was 8 years old. Growing up, his father was scarcely home, spending most of his free time at bars or cheap motels with various women. Vincent was on his own for much of his life without contact to other family, forcing him to mature quicker than most. In high school, he didn’t have many friends, opting to not get too close to anyone and found himself among the ‘outcasts’ known for skateboarding and smoking weed, both things he enjoyed partaking in to release stress. He’d be bullied sometimes by the popular kids, further driving him not to trust or rely on others, only himself. He tried to stay in school, but at 17 he dropped out to focus on working and putting food on the table. As soon as he had saved enough money, he moved out on his own and cut contact with his father.
