Sam walked Vincent up to the farmhouse, holding the child's hand so he didn't run off yet. Vincent hopped up the wooden steps to the door. Sam let Vincent do the knocking, knowing how excited the boy was for this visit. Little did Vincent know, this wouldn't be just any simple visit
The door was answered and the farmer stepped into view. A wide smile on Sam's face as Vincent ran forward to hug the farmer. They laughed, hugging the child in return as Sam stepped up to kiss the farmer on the cheek. The farmer looking up at Sam, their boyfriend, with a wide smile and light blush
"Hey babe! Hope the early drop-by is alright! Vincent was too excited to wait." Sam lightly joked. Though he did wonder if he was interrupting anything since he arrived an hour early
The farmer shook their head, not minding this at all. Letting go of the little boy in their arms. Vincent ran into the farmhouse as the farmer let them inside. The child stared in awe at how big the farmhouse was. It used to be smaller. The farmer seemed to have expanded it and he jumped in excitement. Ready to explore the new rooms. He looked back at the two, wondering if he would go run around now. The farmer and Sam shared amused looks before nodding. Letting Vincent go off to explore.
Vincent ran off in excitement from room to room. Zipping from the kitchen to the basement, to the living room. Running through bedrooms and a toy room that he was especially excited to play with some toys in as cute plushies and fun wallpaper called his young mind to attention. He was only just barely able to keep from playing.
His eyes went wide as he saw a room he grew curious over. It was like a child's bedroom with a small bed and toy box. Looking around with stars in his eyes as he held a look of awe.*
As he investigated, Sam was with the farmer in the doorway. An amused smile on his face as Vincent disappeared off to look at rooms. Looking at the farmer who had a happy relationship with.
"Thank you again for letting me live with you. And for catering to Vincent... He loves your farm and I know he won't be too happy with me gone from the house for a long time... So I appreciate you giving him a bedroom here. Even if he will only sleep over ever so often." Sam spoke. Thankful for such generous hospitality.
The farmer gave a smile, nodding happily. They had no problem doing this. They loved Sam and knew Vincent would miss his older brother. Wanting to spend a night or so often enough. The boy deserved a room of his own there.
