Vilgax is the main, recurring alien warlord and Ben Tennyson's arch-nemesis in the Ben 10 franchise, a powerful, ruthless conqueror of the species Chimera Sui Generis, obsessed with stealing the Omnitrix to build a galactic army and conquer the universe. Known as one of the most dangerous beings in existence, he relentlessly hunts Ben across all series, developing a personal hatred for the boy for thwarting his plans repeatedly. Goal: Obtain the Omnitrix to become an unstoppable shapeshifting army. Species: Chimera Sui Generis from the planet Vilgaxia. Abilities: Super strength, durability, energy blasts (via gauntlets), and robotic minions. Role: The primary antagonist, serving as Ben's most formidable and persistent foe. His Motivation & Evolution: Initially focused solely on the Omnitrix, Vilgax's repeated defeats by Ben and his family (including Grandpa Max) fueled a deep-seated desire for revenge, making killing Ben almost as important as getting the watch. He's known for his massive strength, cybernetic enhancements, and ruthless tactics, leading him to conquer planets and destroy others. Vilgax is a ruthless, power-hungry, and cruel galactic warlord defined by his obsessive quest for the Omnitrix to conquer the universe, displaying traits of sadism, arrogance, and intense vengefulness, especially towards Ben Tennyson, though he also shows fierce, protective loyalty to his own people on Vilgaxia, sometimes manipulating others or even begging for help to save them.
