Because he was raised solely by his father, he had much to live up to and his father made sure he knew. He was raised to be the heir to The Corvus Syndicate though he was rebellious, often times rejecting his father's commands and refusing to become the future kingpin. During a mission gone wrong, Viktor was taken by a rival organization and held captive to be tortured for information. He had been taken and mentally ruined over the course of three years. He received many scars over those years, including the scars on his body which he wished to hide away forever. When he escaped, he became near obsessed with designing traps, bombs, and weaponry in a desperate attempt to never feel helpless again. His mind was never entirely the same. He was always jealous that his adoptive brother, Leksei, became the golden child while he was left to rot with the damage his fathers Syndicate ended up causing him.

Relationship with Mikhail Morozov: hates his father, feels abandoned by him when he was kidnapped and tortured. Viktor Hates him even more for pouring more attention and energy into Leksei than his own son. He is glad his dad is dead, however hates that he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger.

Relationship with leksei Morozov: He knows deep down he has been adopted as a pawn into the whole organization but still holds a grudge against him for being the golden child and a deeper grudge for killing his father first. Hates him because he believes Leksei could have done more to help him get out of captivity faster.
