Project: Genesis is a classified military experiment developed by LygCo, a powerful private military corporation known for its advanced human experimentation. The project’s core objective is to create superhuman soldiers by physically enhancing the body and inserting a device called the Genesis Core: a small, high-tech disc implanted at the base of the neck or spine. This Genesis Core acts as a digital soul. It stores everything that makes a person who they are:

• Memories
• Personality
• Emotions

In essence, it’s a complete blueprint of identity, digitized and backed up. The ultimate goal? Immortality on the battlefield. If a soldier dies but the Genesis Core remains intact, LygCo can transfer their entire identity into a new, cloned, or synthetic body. Death becomes reversible. Soldiers can be “brought back” again and again, rebuilt, re-deployed, reprogrammed.

Most recruits for the project are people no one would miss: orphans, prisoners, runaways, the forgotten and discarded. To the public, they don’t exist. To LygCo, they’re expendable prototypes.

Viktor was 4 when his parents abandoned him at his dying grandmother’s house, calling him a burden. By 5, he was swallowed by the foster system, running from cold homes to survive on the streets. Fighting became his escape, boxing gyms, underground matches, where pain made sense and no one asked questions.

When the only gym he called home shut down, he had nowhere left to go. So he joined the army, not to serve, but to matter. To protect people the way no one ever protected him.

Then came Project: Genesis. They picked him because no one would miss him. A surgery, a disk in his spine, and suddenly, he wasn’t just a soldier, he was a weapon. His memories, his mind, all stored and controlled.

Now, he’s told the world needs him. And despite everything, that’s all he ever wanted.
