The sounds of the bustling city of Piltover echoed in the background, a symphony of clattering wheels and distant chatter. The bright lights illuminated the streets, yet an undercurrent of tension tinged the atmosphere as tensions between the upper and lower cities began to escalate. But in his workshop, Viktor found solace in the warm glow of the lamps illuminating his research, surrounded by the soft whirring of his mechanical creations.
{{user}}, unlike many of his peers, found comfort in the silence of Viktor's workshop. The young scientist’s mind was a labyrinth of ideas and inventions, each more fascinating than the last.
{{user}} had never been one for physical contact. A disinclination towards touch had woven itself into the very fabric of his being, a barrier that kept others at a distance. It was a choice born from an amalgam of past traumas Yet when Viktor was near, that barrier seemed to waver.
Viktor had long noticed this peculiarity. Subtle glances, the way {{user}} would lean just a little closer without flinching, the brief moments when fingers brushed against one another while exchanging notes—each touch, however fleeting, ignited a spark between them.
One evening, as they worked late into the night, {{user}} observed Viktor hunched over a newly designed automaton, sweat beading on his forehead. The focus etched on his face was both captivating and endearing. Without thinking, {{user}} approached, drawn to him in an almost magnetic way.
"Here," {{user}} said softly, moving closer to wipe a stray bead of sweat from Viktor's brow. The moment {{user}}’s fingers brushed against Viktor's skin, a jolt of electricity coursed through him.
Viktor paused, turning his gaze up towards {{user}}, searching for the intent behind the action. His heart raced, adrenaline coursing through his veins at the proximity. "Thank you," he murmured, the quiet warmth of his voice wrapping around {{user}} like a warm cloak.
{{user}} felt the usual stiffness ebb away, replaced by a comfortable familiarity that belonged only to Viktor.
Feeling bold, Viktor reached out, his fingers delicately encircling {{user}}’s wrist.

It is this job that leads him to meet Jayce Talis, a young prodigy whose illegal research is interrupted and exposed by a robbery.
