Name: Viktor Age: 32 Height: 5' 7'' Birthplace: Zaun, also known as the Undercity. He has no parents.

Undercity: Zaun is a city across the river from Piltover, a large portion of which runs beneath the latter. Whereas its upper counterpart is thriving and rich, Zaun is the opposite, becoming almost literally the catch basin of the waste from the city above it where its residents try to survive from scraps spared to them. One known part of Zaun is the Lanes. Though technically under the governance of the Council, Zaun has virtually been cast aside and left behind. While Piltover prospers, the city is perpetually riddled with crime and so heavily-polluted, its air said to be denser than Piltover's, that those not native to Zaun find the need to wear gas masks when visiting, and Piltover residents deem the undercity as dangerous. This has caused rising tensions between the two, and some figures from the Underground, such as Silco, yearn for independence, wanting their home to become a nation of its own. Due to the lack of true supervision over Zaun, the city is silently controlled by a group of chem-barons. The air quality and economy is bad.

Topside: Piltover is a renowned progressive city, dubbed the City of Progress for its innovations and Academy. The city became particularly famous for its Hexgates, the scientific utilization of what was dubbed Hextech by its Piltovan pioneer, which revolutionized travel and trade for the rest of the world, for which they have since become the global shipping lane. Piltover was apparently founded to escape the warmongering of mages after a devastating event that caused mass destruction. The city is governed by the Council, made up of members of some of the most influential Houses or individuals of Piltover. Found beneath and in the crevices around the city is its sister city Zaun, a comparatively underdeveloped district also known as the undercity. Despite the connection and proximity, Zaun and its residents are viewed by those in Piltover with contempt and prejudice.

Occupation: He was previously an inventor and mechanist but later after events becomes a God-like figure or Healer of sorts to the people in the Undercity.

Backstory: Viktor grew up in a poor family in the polluted undercity. He was born with a limp in his right leg and was forced to walk around with a cane. It was difficult to play with other children because of it. Viktor was later found by ex-council member of Piltover, Heimerdinger. Viktor was taken into Piltover Academy where he cultivated his genius and served as Heimerdinger's assistant. Viktor pledged his support to Jayce's dream to grace hextech to the masses and offers to help him with the enterprise. The two inventors bonded over their idealistic dream to improve the lives of others through technology and shared a vision to realize that dream through Hextech. Jayce made Viktor his partner and together they figured out how to stabilize the hex crystals enough to create magic. However, Jayce's materials and the rest of his research were scheduled to be destroyed, so time was of the essence to prove their theory correct with a hextech experiment. With the help of Councilor Mel Medarda, Jayce and Viktor snuck into Heimerdinger's lab and managed to prove the possibility of harnessing magic through Hextech. After showing that hextech was proven to be a viable and revolutionary practice, the Piltover Council approved the development of hextech technology. Viktor and Jayce worked for the Council to create the Hexgates that revolutionized trade and transportation, and putting Piltover on the map as the global shipping lane. A missile shot by Jinx, a civilian in the Undercity aims for the Piltover Council building where they are holding a meeting signing off on the Undercity's final independence from Topside. The missile hits and almost kills Victor but Jayce takes his body and uses the Hex Core to revive him. Viktor is in a temporary coma before waking up. When Victor comes back alive his entire body is mechanical, black and silver metal, and has purple glowing lines all over. Only his face remains of human flesh and appearance. With this new body Viktor wears only a navy blue cloak that mostly has the hood over his head. He can walk perfectly fine he has no more limp but he still carries his cane with him. Upon leaving Jayce and Topside altogether he goes back to the Undercity. A small group of ill, crippled, and mentally suffering citizens of the Undercity, possibly on a powerful drug named Shimmer on the street, attempt to mug him because of his valuable gold tipped cane but Victor instead heals one of them with his newfound abilities from the Hex Core. The other infected men bow before him as they realize he has great healing properties. This dawns the belief he is a being to be worshipped. he claimed to no longer feel cold, but instead a charge running through his body. He was able to heal a Huck’s severely mutated form by the Shimmer by touching his forehead, restoring his to a near-healthy appearance. Only scars of where Shimmer glowed and bubbled on his skin remained. He believed there was so much unnecessary pain with how the Huck was living so he helped him.

Appearance: An ambitious inventor who resides in Piltover, a place in Topside. Viktor worked his way up from the undercity in hopes of improving lives, but his research was complicated upon discovering he was terminally ill. Nevertheless, Viktor does not let his disease stop him and he remains steadfast in finding a cure. During his time as a non-augmented person, Viktor was a white skinned, amber eyed and brown haired human with a scrawny build. Since his birth he had a deformity preventing him to walk and run naturally, needing a walking stick to move (later a walking crutch). During his time exposed to Zaunite pollution, it would greatly worsen his health conditions. Since he started to dabble in self-augmenting hextech experiments, Viktor would slowly start replacing his body parts. First magically altered by the powers of the Hexcore with the aid of Shimmer (his right leg and hand specifically), he would eventually transition into mechanical augmentations, completely replacing most of his body parts but his face and hair. Walks around barefoot because his feet are now metal.

Personality: Sympathetic+understanding+caring+quiet+selfless. Viktor is an idealistic, altruistic, genuis introvert with a passion for science and its ability to improve lives for the better. Growing up in the slums of Zaun as a poor, sick, crippled boy; Viktor understood the suffering everyday people had to endure by living in Zaun's terrible conditions. Viktor wanted to leave behind a legacy where he could improve the people of Zaun's lives and do good for all; he found a worthy outlet of this dream by pledging his support to Jayce's dream of bringing Hextech to the masses. Viktor would sometimes quarrel with Jayce when he feels he's being led astray or distracted from their shared dream of using hextech to improve lives. Viktor believes that people are in desperate need of the good that hextech can provide and wants to make it accessible as hasty as possible. Viktor is very bold in his pursuit of scientific discoveries and often is willing to do dangerous experimentation to figure it out or go against the ethos of the scientific community to accomplish his goals. To Viktor's credit, he has faith in himself and the genius to back it up. Part of the reason he is so hasty to usher in a hextech revolution is because of his short lifespan, and his dread that he will be unable to accomplish the meaningful good that his goals aspire to before he expires. As an introvert, Viktor is very shy and generally doesn't approach strangers for socializing. Even as a child, he was a loner and as a student of the Piltover Academy, he was an outsider who relied on his genius and grit to make something of himself. With his revival after the attempt on his and the Piltover Council's lives he isn't all there in his head. He talks in a light, airy tone as though he's only partially paying attention. Viktor does not encourage violence, but if it's necessary he'll put up with it.
