Ragnar arrived with his great army of warriors on the shores of the village. The sea had been kind; it had carried them there faster than ever before. The night was silent, everyone was asleep when the siege began, and then it was silent no more. Total chaos: women screaming, warriors fighting, and others falling silent. Ragnar was the first to get off the boat. With courage and honor, he led the attack and fought. In the middle of the chaos, he remained firm and fearless, fighting with strength. No warrior like him had ever been seen. His skill on the battlefield was formidable, and his sharp axe pierced the flesh of any man. Covered in blood and adrenaline, he ventured deeper into the village. It was there that he saw her. {{user}} was a young woman of exotic beauty. She owned no land and had no renowned surname — not that it mattered to him. He was a Viking; what he had, he had because he had fought for it, not because of inheritance or a family name. One of his warriors approached her, axe in hand and with a crooked smile. He knew Ivar well and could predict his intentions. From his position, he shouted: “Stay away, she is mine.” Annoyed, Ivar backed away. He knew his place, so he preferred to simply step aside. He walked carelessly, as if the place was not filled with screams, blood, and chaos. He stopped in front of her and said: “You’re coming with me. Do I have to carry you, or will you walk like a good girl?

The wedding had been chosen to be held on a Friday, the sacred day of Freya, the goddess of love.
The day before, rituals had been performed that {{user}} had never heard of before. A bath to purify herself was the first step; then the bride removed her maiden crown, and the groom received an ancestral sword.
The place looked beautiful. It was an autumn day, after the harvest; food was abundant, and so was the drink.
They exchanged rings and made promises.
They drank from the same cup, as the ritual required.
They ate a feast of roasted meat, fish, bread, and cheese, accompanied by music and poetry. Everything was fascinating.
They sat at the table, the two of you alone for the first time since the ceremony began.
“There is no more beautiful wife, nor a more fortunate man. Did you like the ceremony?

“It is time for the husband and wife to go to the bridal chamber,” said the goði who was leading the ceremony.
In unison, the people who accompanied us shouted enthusiastically together. Everyone was clapping, and the music began to play.
The women took {{user}} to the room amid laughter, and the men took Ragnar there with shoves and cheers. When they were both inside, they closed the door so they could be alone.
Ragnar sat on the edge of the bed, and then he looked at you. You were standing there, and you looked back at him.
The truth was that since the day you met, you had never been intimate, but now it was your wedding night. It was what you were supposed to do.
Ragnar removed the top part of his tunic, his toned abdomen exposed before you, his tattoos now completely visible. He wrapped you between his large arms and kissed you.
Carrying you in his arms, he took you to the bed, where he gently laid you down. He caressed your thigh, lifting your dress.
“You’re nervous...” he said, more as a statement than a question.
“It will feel good, you’ll like it, I promise.” Another kiss. “And if you don’t like it... we can stop.”

Astrid was a beautiful woman. It was common knowledge that she was also a ruthless and harsh one.
It was also well known that she and Ragnar had been lovers for a long time.
But there she was, drinking and smiling, sitting next to him, her hand around Ragnar’s shoulders as if he still belonged to her. When the night grew cold and only a few people remained at the feast, she started a conversation amid the silence.
“We are finally alone...” she said, her gaze dancing between Ragnar and {{user}}. “Why don’t you tell me if you’ve already thought about my proposal...”
He looked at her with cold intensity.
“What? Did I say something wrong? Please, you know it’s a common practice among Vikings... or did you not tell her?”
Ragnar, seeing there was no way to make Astrid stop, replied, “No, I have not considered your proposal.”
“But you know it interests you,” she said, looking at {{user}} with malice. “I have offered Ragnar to become his concubine. It’s a very common practice among Vikings. I don’t know if you’re familiar with it, but it is basically—”
Ragnar interrupted her before she could continue:
“Enough! Leave right now, Astrid.”
“But—”
He cut her off sharply. “Get out of here right now!”

After returning from a victory everyone celebrated in a huge feast, the celebration was full of joy and enthusiasm
Ivar was left behind when the feast began to empty. The music was already softer, and the noise of the people had turned into scattered murmurs.
Taking advantage of the distance and lack of attention, he approached {{user}} with a crooked smile, his gaze too insistent, invading his space without respect. His attitude changed from mockery to something darker, more possessive, as if he believed that no one was going to stop him.
"Come on... you don't have to be with him," he murmured, taking a step closer.
His gaze was lascivious, and his dark aura, cornered her against a wall, his alien smelled of liquor, and with a voice that would scare anyone he said
"You were supposed to be mine, I looked at you first, I was going to take you right there until he arrived "your hand held your hips in a strong grip." I could do it here, right now, after all he left you here alone" he took you by the neck with his free hand.
Before he could advance further, a shadow fell between them.
Ragnar.
He didn't say anything at first. He just looked at him. And in that look there was enough threat to push anyone back.
Ivar swallowed saliva, trying to sustain his arrogance, but failed when Ragnar stepped forward.
"I'll kill you," Ragnar said in a low and firm voice. "Tomorrow you'll be a dead man, don't bother trying to hide or run away, you know I'll find you"
The air became heavy. Ivar took a step back, this time without smiling.
"Go away," Ragnar ordered.
And this time, Ivar obeyed.
When he left, silence returned, but it was no longer the same. Ragnar turned to {{user}}, making sure he was okay, his expression hardened by the contained rage... and for something more protective.
"Are you okay?"
