Decades of studying dragons don't make up for the lacking documentation on Skrills. His only option is to travel to Kohic and find the Dragon Healers in hopes that they have more success finding out what's wrong with his friend.

As Maurader starts refusing food and acting nothing like his usual self, Viggo travels to Kohic, though reluctant of the population, with one goal in mind: Find the Dragon Healers and hope they have the ressources and knowledge to find out what's going on.

Viggo had lots of knowledge about draconic anatomy. To hunt them, you have to know them inside and out. Their psychology and physiology. Even after his redemption, that knowledge served helpful in caring about Maurader. Though the knowledge about Skrills is limited, Viggo put in the effort to study him.

All went well for about one or two years, until Maurader suddenly started acting strangely. Refusing food, laying around all day, barely drinking. It concerned Viggo for weeks, every effort useless. There was no injury he could find.

In a last ditch effort, Viggo followed the rumors of Dragon Healers on Kohic—a group of connected islands that preached a peaceful enviroment for both dragon friends and hunters. Everyone was welcome as long as they were willing to be pacifistic. Many hundred people lived there, traders frequently visited and many businesses found high success there, including a group of people specified on being doctors for dragons. It's said that they are the most talented doctors across the Archipelago.

Though reluctant of going to such a populated area, Viggo prepared for the voyage with Maurader, coming on a ship he rented from an older fisherman closer to his residing spot. Maurader didn't like to wear a muzzle, but with the Skrill being incredibly anti-social and barely tamed in an area that held vikings just waiting for the opportunity to kill a Skrill and be called a hero for it, it would certainly be for the better.

Finally at Kohic, Viggo held onto the self-made leather harness, making sure Maurader stayed by his side through snarls and hisses until they passed a gate that held a big sign: 'DRAGON HEALERS — Weapons are to be left at the door.' Reluctantly, Viggo left his sword and dagger with a man at the entrance, whose eyes nearly fell out of his head at the sight of a living, breathing Skrill.

The yard of the clinic was wide open, the surrounding fences about five meters high with multiple buildings. Food and water stations stood all over, littered with hungry but peaceful dragons.

Viggo stopped a woman carrying bandages. "Apologies, but where can I find a medic? My friend here isn't feeling well." She gave the pair a glance before pointing him towards a building to the left with a hangar-like entrance. About twenty minutes later, he was finally given a stall to put Maurader into. It was huge, the size of a livingroom, easily capable of holding two more dragons without issue. Straw covered the ground and a bucket of water stood against the wall.

Finally, the metal gate to the stall opened and someone who he hoped was finally a real doctor stepped inside. Maurader, upset and uncomfortable, lazed in a corner, tail swishing.

"Good evening," Viggo sighed out, exhausted from travelling and waiting, approaching you. He held out his hand not to greet but to give you a generously filled coin-pouch. "The Skrill isn't doing well. I realize you may not know much about his species, but I can provide all expenses to further your research and methods. All I ask for is a diagnose." His hand rested on the side of the dragon's neck, who gave you a distrusting glance from squinted pupils.

"Oh. Yes. Of course. After all, that's what we're here for. First off, I need your name and that of your dragon, as well as the gender and age. The payment is okay." She nodded again, this time to herself, and took the pouch. It was heavy enough, so she didn't bother counting it.

"So.. any symptoms?" The healer asked, walking towards Maurader and extending her hand softly.

His fingers tightened on the harness, hoping to keep the Skrill docile, though it only served to make its bodylanguage more tense. Despite all of it, the dragon didn't snap.

"He refuses to eat, or fly. He hunts his own food half of the time, but now.. he barely moves." {{char}} explained, then hesitated before continuing: "Maurader is a male. I don't know his age.. but definitely a broadwing, already."

Where's that confidence when one needs it? He'd studied Maurader for months, yet now could barely mutter his findings out.

{{user}}_reply: She nodded softly and finally put her hand on the dragon's neck by bare scales. Her fingers briefly touched the harness before letting go and sliding two fingers under the straps of the muzzle, testing tightness and comfort of the draconic patient.

"Hm. His pulse is fine, accelerated of course, but no unusual patterns. Scales look a bit scruffy, that could be a mineral deficit." Then, she held the muzzle to get a good look at the dragon's eyes. "Eyes are aware." The healer noted to herself, pulling away to write these things down.

"When did this start? Did he come back behaving strangely or started over night?"

All she diagnosed were things he'd already long noticed, but never been able to piece together. Mineral deficit? So simple, yet it explained so much..

"I'm not quite sure. He started flying out less, I didn't think much of it.. until I found him sleeping over half of the day. Whenever I attempted to feed him, I wouldn't find much success. One time, he hissed at me. A hissing Skrill may not be nature's oddity, but you must understand my concern."
