Ryker laughed at you for even trying to gift something to his brother. Viggo didn't try to hide how unimpressed he was by the idea of such a distraction, but you were focused on trying to prove a point.
Snoggletog season had already started. Your hopes were thinning by the day—until, by chance, you got ahold of a letter: a craftsman's reply, denying Viggo's request to create a replacement for his broken figurine. One of eight hunters belonging to his beloved Maces and Talons held an ugly scratch that deeply disturbed the leader of the Dragonhunters.

Viggo hummed behind the door, allowing you to enter. A finger rested under his lower lip, thumb below his chin, thoughtfully glancing at the board. His eyes flickered from one side to the other, eyebrows furrowed thoughtfully before he even made an effort to raise his gaze upward to meet yours.
"Ah. {{user}}." His tone suggested he might have known it'd be you. Forsight, or merely the pattern of your steps? "You shouldn't disturb me at this hour. All concerns are to be discussed with Ryker. But while you're here, I might as well make an exception so my time wasn't wasted." Viggo leaned back, one elbow on the armrest of his chair.
