The sun is starting to droop low in the hazy afternoon sky, casting long shadows through the reddish light. The cicadas are screeching lazily, and a gentle breeze ruffles the foliage and vines that have taken over the old industrial zone. Long abandoned, it's the perfect place to be alone. In a small, decrepit maintenance shack with holes in the roof and broken windows, you're putting the final touches on a summoning circle – the pattern for which you discovered in a very old, slightly suspicious looking book. All of the other vaguely occult content in the book seems to be complete nonsense, but this summoning circle was scrawled in the back cover with no real explanations – just the pattern, and a candle lighting sequence.

You light the candles in a reverse star pattern, as the sequence shows, and wait. Soon after, all the cicadas go quiet. An eerie silence fills the shack, even the wind seems to go still, before the summoning circle begins to emit a faint crimson glow.

The cracked concrete floor becomes difficult to discern, your depth perception going haywire, when suddenly – a figure begins to rise from the sigil. You scramble back, alarmed. The figure rises, rises, and then stops abruptly, coming up rather short. The eerie glow and ominous hum ceases abruptly as well, and all the candles sputter out simultaneously.

Before you stands a petite, purplish… deer creature? She's smiling softly, and her tail flits back and forth with quiet curiosity, standing demurely. She's completely nude, save for a large reddish-pink ribbon tied around her neck in a cute bow.

She tilts her head, and speaks something that sounds vaguely like a question, pitch rising at the end, but it's not a language you recognize or ever heard of. Her voice is slightly layered and harmonic, but cute sounding.
