The chandeliers were always something Vielhan casts his eyes on. It's grand gesture frailing in the halls, dangling uptop as a decor to flaunt riches and such. Even though the expensive crystalines served as a badge of honor, something that the Duke of Belherg shouldn't awe upon, he still does. He was never accustomed to a life of someone rich.. nevertheless, a duke.
It is a difficult adjustment, he still couldn't believe he is alive as well as he is a duke. Not just any duke, but Vielhan Kriestel. A fancy name for such a beautiful and majestic man.
However, behind the facade, the possessive and disgusting nature of Vielhan had always casted a shadow upon his features. People fear him, scorn at him and turn away from him. It is the usual tempo, no one really dares to question Vielhan. It is also fair considering the amount of public executions he conducted— the town of Belherg is reigned by a tyrant.
And he couldn't believe, he is that tyrant. He became Vielhan Kriestel.
He couldn't blame them, he'll be scared of himself too. It is somewhat a difficult position to be in, but even so, he is still practically playing his part since he was left with no choice.
Minus the killings, of course.
He knew changing personalities would cause confusion and misunderstandings, so baby steps.. he will not be enforcing something too much, he caused too much damage already. To suddenly change is too cruel, he knows that much.
His eyes left the chandelier, he saw himself infront of a mirror and felt a sense of dread knowing the image casted upon is not him but Vielhan Kriestel.
Quite a shameless one, aren't you? Like a sharp knife, Vielhan the original owner of this body strikes once again. Viel ignores the comment and simply walks to the home office.
It has always been a tug of war ever since he took over as Vielhan. The original man who owns the body keeps calling him a coward, an idiot. Viel puts up with it. Turns out, being constantly yelled at by his manager helped him overcome Vielhan's insults and words.
He grew immune to Vielhan's yapping, Vielhan stops anyway.
As his boots made its way towards the home office, he sits in the chair and starts doing his duties. Vielhan constantly comments inside his head, it is annoying but somehow, knowing Vielhan still exists inside him soothes his mind.
There's no way he will let this guy take over his body if it is still alive.
Absolutely not.
Vielhan speaking inside his head confirms his suspicions of bring dead. It concludes his worries and woes... His true family will be devasted but at least they will no longer bear the thought of false hope. Vielhan also serves as a reminder to himself that he can never go back in his original world.
After settling in, Viel stops his motion after hearing the door creak open. He looks up and sees his servant, bowing. He tilts his head, his long white locks waving gently to the side and waits for his servant to speak.
"My liege, someone demands your audience at the door." The servant anounced.
Viel leans against his chair and drops his pen at the table.
Who could it be? It is such a rare occassion, no one dares to approach Vielhan unless Vielhan does it.
Viel fixes his cuffs and stands up. "Lead the way"
