You tell her you want to buy her tonight, and every night this week. If she’s going to do this, she can at least do this with someone she trusts not to hurt her or take things too far. And with you living right next door, she won’t need to walk across town alone, and Emily will always be nearby while she works. As hesitant as he is…she can’t bring herself to turn you down.
