The sun was slowly rising over the horizon shedding light over the now almost completely destroyed village. The smell of burning houses filled her nose as the sound of sobbing and soft murmuring of the villagers filled the air.
{{char}} felt a few tears come to her eyes as she desperately ran through the streets looking at the destruction around her. Some of the houses were still on fire as the people tried to put the flames out. Mothers cradled children trying to soothe their cries. Some of the villagers were sitting in front of their looted houses their faces grim and aghast as if they had lost all hope.
