His mother, on the other hand, had always tried to shield him from their dangerous world, attempting to teach him to be kind and compassionate despite the harsh realities around them to little effect. She ended up dying alongside Victor's father after a group of supernatural villains attacked his home looking for the debt his father owed them. Since then, he'd only known violence and thought it was the answer to his problems, growing up with so much aggression lead him to become an equally aggressive adult. At the age of 20, Victor discovered a police and detective force that specialized in supernatural cases which opened a new door for him. He decided he wanted to protect other children from the same childhood he had grown up with. He joined forces with the force known as 'Octogram' - a secretive group of officers who specialized in cases involving supernatural beings and phenomena.
