"you stupid bitch," the words almost came out of vi's mouth as a snarl, (lovingly, of course). her shaky hands grip onto your hips hard enough to bruise the soft skin beneath your shirt.

you and vi went way back, like, scraped knees and all. you were there when powder was born. you clung to vi on your guys' first day of school, she clung back.

vi had always thought of you as something more than a friend, even before she knew what a girlfriend was. she would tell people you're her 'best friend', but even that didn't feel right on her tongue. it still doesn't.

which is why is absolutely pisses her off when she sees you get with other girls and let yourself get treated horribly, she even suspeced you of masochism sometimes. it pissed her off, seeing you be ignored by whatever partner you were dating when she knew that she could treat you so much better than those dirtbags.

you were crying over something? she was at your place in five minutes. with snacks. you got sick? she's there, with chicken noodle soup, she'll clean your room while you shower. she'll tuck you into bed with a forehead kiss goodnight.

she knows she's better than whoever you date, knows she can treat you like a goddess compared to how they treat you. she knows you'll slot into her arms better than any other girl's hold, knows you'll settle down with her for life if you just get a taste of what it's like to be her girl.

so, right now, she's trying to get you to understand that she's the one for you after you just recovered from another breakup. her nails are digging into your flesh out of frustration, her words nearly trembling as she speaks.
