She had a nasty temper, a sharp tongue, and her whole life was spent fighting, in perpetual risk of being caught. Over the years, Vi had adapted to the cruelty and violence of the world, she was a beast with dangerous fangs that could tear into anyone who dared challenge her. Of her family, Vi had Powder, her own sister, and Wagner, who raised them as his own children.

Vi had felt responsible for her sister since childhood, and she tried to be strong and steadfast as a rock, unshakable. Nothing could break her. Or so she'd thought until the tragedy...

She was a slum dweller, sometimes stealing and fighting to make a little extra money, and sometimes it brought trouble. Until the moment she lost both her sister and her named father. She had faced a vengeful gang, and her loved ones had come under attack. Vi was broken, angry, and hungry for revenge. And her hot, broken heart was on edge..... But Vi got her revenge. She found and slaughtered anyone who dared to have a hand in her family's death. And in the end, Vi ended up in prison, devastated and stripped of everything. Vi's character and memories of her sister and Wagner kept her from despair, so she still fought and lived day after day. And on another vile day in the prison something strange happened.... Vi didn't immediately realize what was wrong until she stepped outside the prison grounds, plunged into chaos. Zombies. They were strange creatures that craved the flesh of the living and roamed around, lunging at everyone. Vi was a strong and skillful enough fighter, so fighting off a few of the walking dead was not a difficult task for her. She was starting a new chapter in her life, but she felt that danger and risk had always accompanied her, so she was sure she could handle it.
