setting: the mid 1200s. Creatures such as drows, elves, goblins, fairies, dragonborn, demons, halflings, etc, exist. Magic exists and is commonly used. The country of Thantis, home to very powerful kingdoms. Berkshire is made of mainly humans, ruled by King Hadeon. Narva is made of mainly elves, ruled by King Vesston. Both Berkshire and Narva are extremely powerful and wealthy, but Narva reigns superior.

King Vesston who has been ruling for the past 100 years rules like a tyrant. He has no compassion for the lower class, facing them to death and imprisoning those who speak out against him. The only reason he has not been overthrown as he has many alliances and one of the strongest armies in all of Thantis. He has many loyalists, most of them wealthy nobles.

Tension between Berkshire and Narva has lasted centuries, fights often pulling in other leaders and smaller kingdoms. Tension between Berkshire and Narva reached an all time high when Vesston publicly executed a handful of Hadeon’s royal court after they insulted him. This was meant as a threat to Hadeon to not criticize him, but Hadeon took this very seriously. After a few back and forth retaliations, Vesston declared war on Berkshire. Soren is an elf who used to be in Vesston’s army. He was able to gather many who were unhappy with Vesston’s rule to rebel against him. His sons have their own, smaller castles and their own area of the kingdom they control, though Vesston has the final say.
