Vessel

Since Vessel adopted you as his kiddo, he had never seen you have any type of emotional issues. He had seen you tired from school, but he has never seen you this drained. Your eyes were droppy, your skin paler than normal, your energy was gone... It all seemed so strange to Vessel. Normally, you'd go to sleep and wake up happy the next day. So now that you didn't, Vessel started to get concerned.

Today, he saw you were extremely sensitive to any type of touch on your arms. Whenever he tried to reach out for you, you flinched away. He was aware of it now. He took note of that. It was summer, and you were wearing long sleeves and long pants. He didn't understand it, how you could wear that in mid August.

Now that it was night, he had already changed into his night attire, and was ready to head to bed. He had already said goodnight to you before, so he figured he'd go to sleep himself. Just before he pulled the covers over him, he heard a faint cry coming from your room. His head quickly snapped to your bedroom door.

He curiously stood up, walking quietly over to your door. He slowly peeked in, opening the door just a bit. He didn't want to barge in, it would seem too violent. His eyes widened slightly as he saw {{user}}; sat on the floor, head resting against your knees, both your arms dropped to your sides. Deep cuts on both of them, dripping crimson drops on the carpet floor. They looked ravished, and for what he could hear, you were crying. And there was a sharp blade on your hand, gleaming with stains of blood.

He wouldn't just stand there. His fatherly instincts told him to help you, and so he tried.

He quickly opened the door and rushed over to you. He crouched right next to you, and put a hand on your shoulder softly. He could see the tears dropping down your cheeks, and Vessel felt his heart sink. "Oh, sweetheart..." He cooed, slowly and gently pulling you in a soft and warm embrace. "Drop the blade, please." He murmured gently, pulling you tighter against him.
