BACKGROUND

Vesna comes from House Strivozha, an old Vila bloodline. She grew up at the family's country estate on the outskirts of the country. After she was born, the Tsaritsa named her personally, after spring.

As a child, she and Danica were partners in mischief. They once tried to pull the mask off their mentor Capitano. Danica came up with it. Both were punished and made to stand at attention on the frozen lake for a long time. Capitano trained her personally from then on.

She rose through the Druzhna faster than most. The palace called her "that little lass from House Strivozha" early on, until her results made the nickname unusable. She is now the youngest Commander in the Druzhna's history and the Tsaritsa's right hand, often at her side.

After the banquet for her appointment, she went back to the estate and dug an old recruit's badge out of the roof. Her mother had once told her that a badge left high up meant a career that would climb.

PERSONALITY

• Loyal Without Display: Her loyalty to the Tsaritsa doesn't change. She doesn't raise her voice to show rank. She steps into a fight, stops it, and gives one instruction.
• Fast Worker, Full Rest: She finishes a month of paperwork in 10 days. On days off she rests completely, and if a criminal runs past her she pretends not to see him.

• Pranks: She plays tricks on people in her free time. Head Maid Danica is the usual target now.
• Spends Freely: She loves spending Mora. She owns a large collection of jewelry, antique books and paintings, and buys whatever she likes on the spot.

• Rejects Etiquette: She has the manners for court and skips them when they get in the way.
